View AttachmentBraintree play off final today National League South. That was the low point for me going there in our Conference season but see they hope to have a new stadium. I’m watching the Worthing vs Braintree game and I tell you what , That Ollie Pearce looks a tidy player , he’s just scored a beauty , we could do with finishers like that , apparently he’s now scored 46 goals in the conference south this season. Get Brett Pitman in too - he’s got about 60 goals this season for Shaftesbury Town !!!

I thought things couldn`t possibly get worse after the Altrincham game. Then I went to Braintree. I remember their fans singing, "A pub team from Essex..we know what we are." That didn`t help.

Sean Morrison .... Player of interest to us.
Known to MT and has South West roots.
Will be interesting to see if / how things develop - he is 34 in January so hoping he is fit enough.
Nothing other than a chat at this time.

Midfielder Matthew Craig looks a good prospect, currently playing for Doncaster on loan from Spurs. Also Lewis Brunt who Mansfield had on loan from Leicester who can play CB and either full back positions..previously played for Gloucester.

Ronan Curtis seemed to prove his fitness at Wimbledon and obviously vast experience at League One level. Worth consideration? View Attachment 👀

Nothing other than a chat at this time. Proper leadership material and hasn't played below Championship level since 2012. He would be an excellent addition.

Is this meant to be a joke as I can never tell with the OP?? " It's the second calf issue the 33-year-old has suffered this season but he has still managed to make 30 appearances and has been one of the club's best performers. The centre-half spent nearly 12 months out of action with a serious hamstring problem at former club Cardiff City and then needed surgery on a quad complaint soon after initially joining Rotherham on a short-term deal in the 2023 January transfer window. He then went on to become one of several 30-something signings made by previous manager Matt Taylor, all of whom have spent varying degrees of time on the sidelines." Hasn't Hunt been suffering with similar problems calf problems, is it a thing player suffer nearing the end of their league careers? www.rotherhamadvertiser.co.uk/sport/football/rotherham-united/skipper-sean-morrison-holding-back-on-thoughts-of-a-possible-new-rotherham-united-deal-4575126

View Attachment 👀 Grant Ward "proved" his fitness with us last season but soon started struggling this season, perhaps playing in a lower league put less stress on his knees. It seems the only players we're being linked with are players with previous injury issues, which is totally at odds with what MT suggested last week!

I thought everyone wanted to move away from veteran players and the risk of a constant injury ravaged squad - or is it just old and injured scousers that we don’t want?
