Neil Etheridge released by Birmingham, WYHHB? Too right Would be a great keeper for Ward to learn from also. Could we have both players in our squad with our model? Maybe he is looking to move into coaching too? |

This will be the season when we will find out if George Friend’s vast experience will benefit the club sufficiently. Let’s hope George and the manager bring in the players to make real progress. Avoiding the usual catch up to a season would help as Rovers usually take a dozen games or so to get going! Let’s give the guy a chance. I think his knowledge will benefit the club and I’m sure he’ll get more used to the systems and how to do his job as he goes along. I think it’s a tad unfair expecting him to be the perfect DOF straightaway. But some good early signings will help. 👍 UTG! |

Lots of experience at Championship level plus internationally where he has captained his country. Also set up a coaching academy in the Philippines. Sounds ideal to me. |

Also I am in contact with a coach of the local Cebu City Football club. |

According to Wiki he signed a 3 year contract with Valenciennes in July 2023.

Relegated and playing in the Championnat National for the first time in 20 years. We went to Valencinennes the night before Dover (A). Lovely stadium!  |

Taylor Moore according to rumour on the wish list thread I did put this on that thread too so sorry for the duplicate, but just wondering if anyone knows if this alleged incident has any truth in it? And if so whether there was any outcome? May not be under contract anymore? |

Stanton was previously Head of Performance Analysis & Technical Recruitment at Bristol City when they spent a reported £1.5million to sign him back in 2016. As you say, Valenciennes had a stinker, but I expect them to bounce straight back. If the fee is reasonable Moore would be a good versatile option to have in the squad. |

It seems likely to be true if he's disappeared from all their websites and there's rumours he's thinking over a move to join Rovers? If his contract has been terminated I assume he can sign straight away? |
