It was pirate who told us first I think, that 7 were lined up with 4 more in discussion so I think that’s a tad unfair. UTG! He did but has been revelling in stories of players turning us down and manager being a “fraud” so fair to call out I think! To be fair, he seems to have great knowledge of players, if not managers. I'm sure like the rest of us, he's hoping he's wrong this time regarding Taylor 🤣 |

If so, what's your opinion of Hutchinson?
One of your fans on X said his stats don't reflect his performances. They said in most games he makes no impact and you don't even notice he's on the pitch. He goes on to say that he'll be glad to get rid of him because you need better for such an important position.
Any truth in that? I see he won the fans player of the year award so I assume it's not an opinion shared by all of you.

Looks a good player but if he is replacing Evans he’s got a tough job on his hands. IMO Evans is one of the best players in league one.

But hopefully with the Evans money we can get this guy plus a striker and a winger that can impact now and sell for a profit in the future. That’s the game of sustainable improvement. |

It’s all very intriguing the recruitment this year. If people are correct and we’ve signed all these players and we are waiting for them to be revealed why are we waiting. Is MT on holiday so we have to wait for him to return so some kind of photocall can be arranged? If he is on holiday and we’ve signed these players without his presence over the past week/ two weeks then GF has done a really good job with the recruitment team to sign these players without too much involvement from MT.
Are they going to reveal them all in one photo (as per 2021 when Hughes, Finley, Coutts Anderton were revealed in one day) or will it be a drip feed over a week?
FWIW the video clips of Isaac Hutchinson show a genuinely two-footed player who looks very comfortable in possession but compilations of best bits on a video can be misleading. I hope he’s as good as the clips and I hope we’ve signed him.
But…. I am still not sure about getting happy until we sign some strikers. It happens every year we recruit defenders and midfielders and then stop. We need a couple of out and out strikers sooner rather than later.
