And he’s just signed a new contract at Crawley. Not that that in itself would stop it happening. UTG! Sorry to both of you!! The new contract meant very little. Signed for Burton today! UTG! This season looks like being a tough one for any club without deep pockets. |

It all looks like a great start to this summer's signing spree.
Talented youngsters, longer contracts.... it's no guarantee of success but I for one applaud the effort of all at the club.

Feels like we are getting the Rovers “DNA” the new owners have told us was the plan. Looking at long term sustainability based on young (mainly already proven) players with lots more potential. The 3 signings so far plus Conteh are proof of that. They may not all work out but hopefully this is now a long term plan and doesn’t get ripped up. Fair plan to the owners George (and team) and Matt Taylor. |

Totally agree and the comment about lowering our budget and a smaller squad seem to have been a bluff! Think all three signings have been good we know one more is the young lad so wonder who the other two are? Sorry other one is as we know one has been on a medical today. I wonder apart from loans is that it? Imho still need a goalkeeper, striker and maybe a defender. |

So today, Ellison, Sinclair or Moore announced or will be get blindsided again?! Good work gas.
Looks like we are building for a 4 at the back, so with Taylor, Wilson, Connolly, Ellison & Moore we are probably done for CBs. If Hoole signs with him and Hunt and Mola able to play right back, we are probably done there. Another LB needed at least.
More pace and wingers and a no.9 now priority. Plus an experienced keeper to support Ward.
Would be nice to have a squad of perm players with a sprinkling of excellent loans rather than being over reliant on the loans.

Am i right in saying we haven't replaced Ansi as GK coach yet?
Wonder if we may go down an experienced keeper to be player/coach, bring out the best in Ward and allow him to be no.1 with experienced back up if and when he needs to be taken out of the side?

This is kind of feeling like the squad Widdrington gifted Garner with, a lot, maybe too many new young players who will be stepping up a few levels.
I sincerely hope these signings this week will get balanced with some serious experience, otherwise we will be in trouble.
