Rumour we're in for Andre Dozzell....free agent having been released by QPR having been on loan to Birmingham last season....lots of experience and only 25....not a replacement for Evans but a tidy CM.

Ennis? Transfer record, if true. I'm not sure if he's worth that amount. He's had injury problems in the past and spent some of last season injured. So I didn't think he would for the criteria of players playing the majority of games for a number of years. If he regains his fitness he will be good at this level, but it would be a risk for that amount. Ennis only joined Stoke at the end of January and signed a 2.5 year contract for his former manager at Plymouth. Why on earth would they want to get rid so soon and how on earth could we afford the fee and his championship wages? He only scored one goal for them though and they might think he's struggling in the championship? I think Schumacher wanted someone he could trust, when they were in a relegation fight. Now they will want to push on, they might deem him not good enough. A lot would depend on who else that can get to replace him. I'm not sure if the poster is genuine though, it's a new account. |

Charlie McNeill is one on the clubs radar - we are being priced out by a Championship club it seems. Fits the recruitment model & Rovers were keen to get him in on a long term contract.
