Not sure if been covered else where. Probably but couldn’t see a thread. That bloke will feel the pain tonight. I’d like to think we were all Cheltenham fans today. Stick with D.C Cheltenham. You got what I want. Taylor OUT ‘

On the flip side the snake has a relegation on his CV the horrible little lady garden he is Clearly still knows where the back of the net is though. Does he get a double relegation as he was at FGR earlier in the season?

Definitely still knows where the net is no doubt and if DC can keep him next season he’ll more than likely do ok However I hope he’s crying himself to sleep tonight, f**k him

Snake really screwed his career when he left us. He could have gone down as a gas legend.

Snake really screwed his career when he left us. He could have gone down as a gas legend. Not a legend but not far short. Arrived at the lowest point in our history as a winger who couldn’t get a game in the conference for FGR. Scored the goals which played a huge part in getting our status back as a league club (we may not exist now if we’d stayed non-league). Then scored loads more to get our back into league one before leaving which made us £300k profit. Slightly tarnished by playing for City but he hasn’t killed anyone or done anything to warrant the abuse he gets from some of our fans.

Set for life? I doubt the snake made that much in his career? 10-12k a week just at city for 3 years. Plus a sign on fee. That’s before you add in any wages he earned elsewhere. He’ll be a multi millionaire and if he’s invested wisely he’ll be doing okay for himself.

If ever there was a striker who wore a heavy shirt for us and the responsibility of being our goalscorer to get us out of the conference. Thankful and much gratitude from me

The "all going to have a party" song is embarrassing, I'd happily give him the shithead shout during the 90 of a football match, but singing about someone being dead is very very low. Knuckle dragger behaviour.

D/C thread morphed into 'Snake' thread! for me no where near legend status, an intelligent footballer regarding positional sense etc which got him a lot of goals in a Rovers side which created the chances for him BUT I was never confident he would score in 1 on 1s and the like. He is not up there in my list of great Rovers strikers/finishers, would he have scored those two 'Walker' goals v Shrews at Wembley for instance? doubtful IMHO and that's what this is just an opinion, I often think back to 'that' Daggers game where he missed several very good chances one of which earned Lee Brown legendary status!! As for abuse, agreed , it is over the top as is much of the like dished out at matches. D/C? tough one , they pulled off some great results in his tenure but a couple of costly defeats sealed their fate ,one of them V us ,ironically!
