Not in any emails I received offering me the opportunity to renew. Did any of those use the word 'Card'? Did any of those say you will have anything physical? They used the word 'Ticket' in the ones I have just looked at. If you can find anywhere that says you would receive a physical card then absolutely you have a claim against the club for £15. If you don't have that, then unfortunately the law says "Let the buyer beward" (bit probably in some clever latin). Even if that was the case, I think that it was somewhat disingenuous of the club not to highlight the change to digital, and, the cost of a card, if that's your preference, very clearly, at the point of purchase.

Thanks Mr Tom Gasify Gorange Just out of interest, could you answer the questions that I asked? Did any of those use the word 'Card'? Did any of those say you will have anything physical? Can you genuinely not see that the club has poorly communicated with its Season Ticket buying supporters/customers?

The community trust and work in the community in general bringing back the gas girls and attracting more families We own our ground and have plans to improve it for all. Would normallty add "our fans" but not so sure these days. Dont get me wrong, listed lots of things to improve and negatives too. But not sure we all need to be quite so down as many seem right now.

I don't think the club have done much wrong. The disabled fans not getting the cards I agree is an issue and I think they have resolved that. I genuinely think that people are getting upset for the sake of it.

The only assumption that I have made is that when renewing my ST (Feb) in response to the clubs email nothing was mentioned about any changes to the effect that the (physical) ST was going to be redundant and I would need some electronic means to use the ST. As far as I was concerned (and it seems like others as well) all was as previous with the ST. Let me be clear - that is not an issue for me as such. But it is for some and it is surely incumbent on the selling party to inform the buying party at time of purchase that the T’s and C’s are changing - and inform them prior to purchase not after. Simple as that really.

So who's going to be the first to sue Rovers for breach of contract over just £15? Did you read the T&C's? What does it say? I can't see there's any reference to cards not being supplied next season, the T&C's even refer to the cost of a replacement card, not the supplying if a card and they also suggests smart cards can be used for rearranged fixtures. I doubt they have been updated given they also refer to last season's finance installment scheme. "Issue Of Replacement Cards/Tickets Lost season ticket cards may be replaced at a charge of £15. These will be issued on the day of a match and ONLY to the named season ticket holder who MUST produce matching photographic identification. This is exclusively at the Club’s discretion. Forgotten season tickets may be replaced for a single game with a paper match ticket at a cost of £5 per ticket. The season card will subsequently be cancelled for that match and the duplicate ticket, if issued, will take precedence. This is exclusively at the Club’s discretion and no more than three duplicate matchday tickets will be issued in any one season. Lost/forgotten/unprinted matchday tickets may be replaced at a cost of £1.50 per ticket. The original ticket will subsequently be cancelled for that match and the duplicate ticket, if issued, will take precedence. This is exclusively at the Club’s discretion and no more than three duplicate matchday tickets will be issued in any one season. Abandoned/Postponed Matches Season card holders will use their smartcards in the normal way for any rearranged fixture caused by postponement or abandonment of the original match."
