I remember reading from chewy that there has been a 29.47% increase in basic North Terrace season ticket prices since 2019.

What about people not on facebook or these forums? I have just rang an elderly friend to advise him of this and he also is furious. This is not something they have thought of today and this should have been cascaded before renewal. Did they think less people would renew with the increase and the lack of plastic ticket with extra charge? If the football had been better it may not have been such a sucker punch. Seriously £15 a ticket what is it made of? Is that £15 every year? I have two redundant ones her now already why cannot they just be reactivated. If there was a complaints email I think everyone should make their feelings known.

Every season ticket holder should be sent a email explaining this, giving them the opportunity to cancel if they don’t want to pay the £15 (if they don’t have a smartphone). Coming soon BRFC smart phones 😂🏴☠️ Reg it's a business now, be charging soon for extra time over the 90 minutes. 😂

All of you.
All of us.
We're just looked on as a commodity.
... club has learned nothing from COVID where nurturing of fans needs were missed.
Now it's a scramble to get as much out of you as possible. Or that's how it feels......can the cost really equate to £15?

It appears to be the way forward for a lot of clubs.

A little addition to this, if Season Ticket prices rose with inflation they'd be £340.00.

Another no brain used decision from the club. There having a laugh at the expense of supporters who are not in the digital world. Shame on the club and as for the £15, what hat did they pull that from. Seems like only five minutes ago the club was sending us gift packs for renewing our ST’s. After the sh** they have served up this season they should of sent us all £50 gift vouchers for our inconvenience.

is there any reason why they can't reactivate the QR codes on this seasons cards. Aren't the digital ST's QR codes?

The problem for me is that digital is easier for the majority of people, it shouldn’t mean that those requiring a physical card are punished financially.

I think this is to stop people giving/selling their ST to others when they can't attend games.

I don't understand how it is over social media but I have not received an email to advise of this. Surely season ticket holders with email addresses should have been emailed to advise? What if you aren't on Facebook etc?

There can be no arguing with the business decision as it makes complete sense.
Phone apps are the future-much easier and cheaper to administer.
The cards have to be printed by specialist security bonded printers and they do charge a lot of money for their services. Those people who say that charging £15 is too much for such a card have no idea as to how much they actually cost.
Where i do think that the club has got it wrong is that it is their choice to change an existing system and so they should provide people who are renewing existing season tickets with new cards free of charge . It should be explained that this is a one off and that lost / stolen cards will be charged at £15 and new season ticket holders will have to pay the £15.00.
It is also worth pointing out that if you renew , year in year out then the card will last you for a few years and the £15 fee spread over say 3 seasons works out at £5 per year or 25p per game.

Surely this is Ticketmaster's fault right? Seems everything else gets blamed on them. But in all seriousness why can't the club just factor this in beforehand and add £15 onto the cost of a season ticket, or make it very clear during the purchasing process that a physical ticket will come at an additional cost *facepalm* Once again a case of poor planning all round on the clubs behalf no way is this ticketmaster fault.like every season this club screws up on season tickets and this year they are trying to squeeze the last drop out of punters.we are like some dodgy corner shop selling out of date stuff and then blaming the supermarkets for taking their trade. I was joking btw - we always blame the 3rd parties when in reality we need to look closer to home Just like the Norwich replay tickets, which we blamed on Ticketmaster but was a ticket office admin error
