Blimey, I find myself agreeing with you. 🤣 You're right, everyone is up in arms but it feels a little like being outraged for the sake of being outraged. There is some seriously 'Professional Offence' being taken by some on this subject. I remember them saying the current cards would work next season, they've changed the goal posts, half the time the man presses the pedal to let me in on my B and q card!😃 There wasn't anyone on the Thatchers turnstyle for that last home game. If they say that cards can be used, I will happily throw mine into the mix for someone to put their ST on. I might be the only one who thinks this is a cracking idea. It's like: Gashead: We need modern facilities. Owners: We have just invested in the infrastructure to allow entry via mobile phone. Gashead: Nooooooo! When I said modern facilities I didn't want anything to change.

Its about communicating and informing customers before purchase of an item - not after. I am quite OK with the change but can see that others may not be.

Have to show ticket getting in plus going up stairs to stand. In winter I find it far easier to have the card ready rather than getting phone out, unlocking and trying to show someone. Plus if I drop card nothing broken. I then find this after market service extremely poor. I am also now have concerns about the direction the club is going in. As stated elsewhere having a season ticket with a concession the rise in price has been greater than a non concession ticket.

Having the season ticketbon your phone doesn't change that? You are still being supplied with entry to games. So, why all the fuss?

The club should have made this clear at the time of purchasing the season tickets. If they didn’t, then it is poor on their part. Let’s not forget the fiasco last season of selling season tickets for a stand that did not exist and L the inconvenience that caused.

There can't be many people who don't have a phone, so this will be fine for most.
For those that don't have a phone capable of digital tickets, then the club should offer the facility of a free card upon application.
