Monotone has been telling everybody and anybody who would listen that all the players are frail and its not his fault that during the past six months he has been unable to get a squeak of a tune out of them; finally after taking another walloping at the hands of the high flying Wigan last Saturday, he sticks his head out of his shell claiming by the order of the peaky Gasheads the retained list would be published today, ffs he cannot even deliver list of names on a scrappy piece of paper.

We need a keeper who will dominate the six yard box - come for crosses and instil confidence in his defence. Anssi never did that when he played for us - stayed on his line - and we now see Jed doing the same. Will always remember the save at Plymouth but better coach needed. Thought David Cole’s was still part of the goalkeeping department. Think he quit again when Jaakola got the f/t job? |

I think this says more about the off the field management of the club who struggle to send a mass email to supporters or release a timely statement than the manager themself. Communication has been shocking for years. |

How do you know 'Monotone's' 🥱 list wasn't delivered on time and he's not actually responsible for the press office and the website? Or his list was vetoed? Or other reasons you know equally little about? |

Just a guess but the two lads who were part of MT's team at Exeter and Rotherham will be rejoining him. Scott Brown (ex Cheltenham) is a GK coach, and Dan Green. Evans will want his own staff at Rotherham.

The prospect of a MT squad overhaul terrifies me. He made a complete pig’s ear of Rotherham’s squad last summer, signing a load of over-the-hill crocks. He is blamed by many for Rotherham’s shocking season.
I also vividly remember his speech to the Rovers players when he arrived about how good the squad was and that’s why he took the job etc. Does this guy know a decent player when he sees one? I’m not convinced.

It seems unlikely the list will now be released tonight, it's hard to believe that the club can't even released the retained list on time.
