I've had my new card for what, 2 Seasons? The one with Filton Avenue written on it. Every time I renewed, with this new card and my previous card, I kept my card and it updated my renewal.
I can understand the £15 cost for new Season Ticket holders because the Club need to have a new card made for them, but why do I need to pick up a £15 charge for someone to reactivate a card I already have?

As a "normal" fan with no smart phone and no email address how does the club propose to issue my season "ticket". Will I be "forced to purchase the card for £15? If the tix was emailed to a friend can it be printed off and scanned at the ticket booth? With no computer and no email address, you are definitely not 'normal', maybe a bit 'special'? You don't know this poster's personal circumstances - don't be so disrespectful.

Strange. The fundraiser page seems to have gone, how much did you raise and why is it not available to view? I'm not sure why you can't see it. Did you donate? If you DM me with your donation details, I'll happily tell you how much was donated and the people that will get a card next season. Why should anyone have to DM you to donate? that’s what the GoFundMe fundraiser is for. BTW it says the fundraiser has disabled donations, I think you need to explain, is it fundraising for people? How much have you raised? And who are these people “you have identified, who can now have cards” as you claim?

How did they manage to register for this forum with no email address, or get a season ticket, or have a bank account, etc etc........

When I opened my bank account, emails weren't even invented. Also I expect you can go to the shop and purchase a season ticket without an email address

Or 4. Receive the card as per conversation at time of renewal. There was absolutely no mention whatsoever of any charge, but I was told that my new card would be delivered at a later date. That was part of the arrangement, and I expect the Club to abide by it. I hate RIP off merchants. Always have done, always will. Problem is, you have no evidence that conversation took place. Email Pete. Sounds like he will give you a refund. So the club are willing to refund fans, hundreds just because they won't give them a piece of plastic costing pence. Now that really is great business sense.

The club's just bluffing as they know full well nobody is likely to accept a refund.

This new ticketing card has been a public relations disaster. Only for the handful of "normal" fans without a mobile device, all ten of them.

Unfortunately Santander who i'm with have no remote scanning for cheques so I had to visit one of their 2 (yes 2) branches in Bristol to deposit the money. No doubt used up all their budget paying for Ant & Decs stupid adverts

Still don’t understand why a public fundraiser won’t share how much they’ve raised or even allow anyone to donate? Let alone know where the raised money ended up. Pretty dodgy looking to me.
