Has anyone got any upto date news on the purchase of the £15 cards.
I renewed my season ticket back in early March for 24/25 season , nothing was mentioned about having to buy as card separately.
Therefore you're season ticket card was included in the price paid.
Can anyone advice if I am correct in assuming this.
Cheers

I’d guess buried in the small print somewhere is the right for them to change the terms & conditions and stitch everyone up like a kipper .

Thanks for your email and we will pass your feedback on to the owners.
Just for clarity at no point during the season ticket renewal stage for season 24/25 was it communicated that we would be issuing new physical cards or old cards would be renewed and the club are providing digital season cards for free at no additional cost, physical cards will be at a cost of £15
There will come a point where the club becomes fully digital, potentially next season and cards will no longer be issued but that will be a gradual process hence why for at least this season cards will be offered There are no plans for the board to change this policy.
If you would like a refund I can arrange this for you
Thanks
Pete

It’s surely a relevant fact to communicate prior to purchase? Ah well…..onwards.

Well I renewed at end of February and was given absolutely no indication that there was any changes to the use of my existing ST. Not an issue for me other than bad comms from the club but for some it is an issue judging by some of the posts on this subject. Tiz done now….so onwards and upwards….maybe 🙃

When I spent the afternoon trying buy a season ticket in April, a bit like the old Kryton Factor. I had three options regarding physical tickets. First attempt the website told me it was a £10 cost for the card. With a box to tick if I wanted it. I was unsure but then the purchase descended into chaos and I was timed out. The next attempt I had a box to tick if I wanted a card but it was greyed out. Anyway that attempt to buy two season tickets failed so I was timed out again. On the attempt the box had disappeared altogether but at least I did get the season tickets. Well I assumed I have, who knows!!

When I received my card last season, I was informed that the card could be used again this coming season and the new ticket uploaded on to it. Under the sale of goods act , it states the vendor has to sale goods at the price advertised. If they price incorrectly and over charge, then the customer has to be re- imbersed. At no time when the season tickets were advertised was there any mention of the £15.00 ,fee. I have informed the club of this , but had no redponse.

I would say this charge is a tax on loyalty, a disguised price increase, and is a very poor decision by the club and an insult to the fanbase.

A digital card is free so there's no price increase unless you opt for a physical card? What are you going to do if the club call your bluff and offer to refund you the cost of your season ticket?

You missed the point Topper, what the club has done is underhand. They should not added a cost on once the season ticket had been purchased. I will probably buy the card, don't know whether I trust using a google wallet, not something I used before.

Or 4. Receive the card as per conversation at time of renewal. There was absolutely no mention whatsoever of any charge, but I was told that my new card would be delivered at a later date. That was part of the arrangement, and I expect the Club to abide by it. I hate RIP off merchants. Always have done, always will.

The club have made it clear if you're not prepared to pay the £15 then they are prepared to refund you and so cancel your season ticket, nobody is ripping you off.
