Happy for Bodin though, not a flicker of celebration when he scores against us. Unlike Collins..

This is essentially a points deduction for rovers.

This is essentially a points deduction for rovers. Or a free hit. Many of our own fans don't expect us to get a point against Bolton already, but some of my favourite ever games have been when we, as massive underdogs, have gone to bigger clubs with bigger stadiums and stood firm and grafted to get a point, or maybe even sneak a win. I don't expect many people expected us to beat Man Utd in 72, or with an incredibly young side draw against Man City in 98? at Maine Rd. Wasn't the back four Trees, Trought, Smith and Leoni and they had Goater and Gareth Taylor in attack - I think their front two cost a few million and our centre backs were both in the youth team the season before.

Madness. Celebrate your goals.
Don't do anything additional- to insult. But celebrate.
Absolute madness that players go hush against former clusb

Can’t really see Oxford surviving in Championship.

Can’t really see Oxford surviving in Championship. No, but they get an extra £5m for the season just for being there. That will come in handy when calculating FFP for the following season.

Some on here have very short memories, we beat Bolton away the season just past.

I doubt they can just bank the £5m as they'll need to strengthen their squad and also pay all the players additional wages? Managing the spend correctly will be the challenge. FFP doesn't apply in L1 it's SCMP at our level and that's based purely on turnover each season.

Don’t see it like that at all - it’s a mark of respect to yr former club ( if you have any ) which Collins quite obvs didn’t in the way he behaved before his transfer - Billy Bodin , even JJ O Toole, never ‘ celebrated ! 💙👍Utg

Collins form in the 12 months before leaving us and in the half season after leaving us leaves a foul taste in my mouth.
However, I think it’s unfair to criticise him for celebrating against us. His celebrations are often excessive whereas his celebration scoring against us was mild in comparison.
That’ll do for me. That’s how it should be done.
If you want a player who is an example of being a dick after scoring against us it’s Luke Leahy who you’d have thought we’d have mistreated given the way he goes on.

I mean if fans give it out they can't moan when they get a bit back. The faux-outrage after a bloke does a little celebration after folk have spent an hour calling him a w*nker etc is one of the funniest things about modern football.
