We have improved with the quality of the opposition and just about deserved our win this evening.When I seen the Rovers flag behind the goal I new we would win the penalty shoot out as did the commentators, not only did the penalty takers have to face Pickford they had to face the mighty name of Bristol Rovers, must have left them shaking in their boots. SO PROUD TO BE A GAS HEAD

We have improved with the quality of the opposition and just about deserved our win this evening.When I seen the Rovers flag behind the goal I new we would win the penalty shoot out as did the commentators, not only did the penalty takers have to face Pickford they had to face the mighty name of Bristol Rovers, must have left them shaking in their boots. SO PROUD TO BE A GAS HEAD
The Swiss hit the post/crossbar in the last few minutes of the game, plus Pickford also brought off a decent save, not sure that we did anything of note in Extra Time. Fortunately I doubt the Netherlands or Turkey are any better than us, so we are still in with a decent chance of making the final. |

The frustrating thing was we seemed to be playing within ourselves again. As soon as they scored, we upped our game until we equalized. Then we seemed to hold back again. It's tournament football and we got through, but hopefully we start playing earlier in the next game. If we keep leaving it until the end, they will be a game when we don't get the equalizer or lose on penalties.

We don’t make it easy for ourselves do we but it’s another semi final!
Flying to Düsseldorf on Tuesday to join to party in Dortmund. Was so close to having to cancel that flight the last two games!
