Yes we can win it, but I already fear the its all being hyped up far too early already and the added pressure wont help.
I don't see any other team that stand out that much. Are France better than they were during the last WC? I don't think so. Germany were in terrible form but have picked up now and will have home advantage. Spain are still in a transitional phase with lot of young players. I can see Portugal doing well.
We should be getting to the semi final as a minimum, but this is England!
I hope we get that far as I have conditional tickets for the semi and final. Would have loved to go earlier to watch some of our games but with other commitments, its not so easy for me to fly back and forth to Europe!

Defence particularly left back and Central is a major weakness,everywhere else we have World Class players,will Southgate get the best out of Foden as Bellingham will surely start at 10. |

I've been looking at this in depth in recent days. Due to recent changes at work and with my new shift patterns, I can only book certain days off to watch the knockout games - but now I'm second-guessing myself where we will qualify and so what path we will take from the round of sixteen onwards.
We should win the group but it's not hard to imagine a scenario where we draw with Serbia in that first game and suddenly the Denmark tie is *very* important.
As a fan I'm nervous. Again. This tournament is winnable but it has to be Southgate's last chance and then who knows what happens next. Despite what I have suggested above I willl be booking my days off assuming we win the group and play in Gelsenkirchen on June 30th.

They were poor during the World Cup. I think more and more we will be seeing so-called smaller teams being more than the sum of their parts as more leagues across the world become more competitive. On their day pretty much any team could get a result against any other team. What's becoming more and more crucial is the ability to put it together across a tournament, which is why Southgate has an advantage over many other national managers - I'm just worried he won't play to that strength when it comes to the early stages in terms of getting a result without weaking the squad for later games... |

They were poor during the World Cup. Yeah 2nd from our group plays the winner of Germany’s group. I know you’ve got to beat the best to win a tournament but that would be an extremely tough game for both sides so early in the tournament. It would make a great final. If we win our group we’ll be up against 3rd place from one of three other groups and then quite possibly Italy in the quarters. Personally I make France the favourites with Germany a close 2nd and then England , spain , Italy Portugal etc have all got a great chance also. |

Southgate is clueless etc etc 😂 It’ll be jogging about trying keep match fitness but at the same time to not get injured , but a lot of them haven’t played for two weeks so it’s vitally important they play a game of sorts. |

This time, more than any other time it would be strange if Engerland were not to win this one. All tne usual suspects in transition and even on the law of averages England must win the Euros at some point soon Every other European country seems to.have won it at some point

But from what I saw of the final 25, we looked solid but lacking a clinical edge/finish up top. Apparently I saw the best of the game Southgate has until Friday to save his job 😉 |

I am at that stage now where I'm really jealous that I am not going to Germany earlier on now! Last tournament was the first one I went to every England game rather than just a few. Would have been guaranteed a ticket for all games other than QF. So hopefully I will be flying to Dusseldorf on July 9th for the semi final! Then will stay for the final if we get that far. Also got a flight booked back to London on July 9th if we mess it all up then my summer holiday's will just be a trip back home! |
