Stick a few Bob on Poland. Last night they were 1001/1. Last 6 games unbeaten, I draw v wales. I have watched every game. The team now has a Polish manager and are getting better with each game. Lewandowski has only been a bit part player, goals coming from the whole team. I do not condone gambling but, for those that do, it’s worth a couple of quid. I'll keep my money in my pocket, thanks KP. I thought Poland were pretty fortunate against Wales and didn't really show much enterprise going forward. Having said that, what do I know? I support Rovers after all. Yes a very tough group indeed for Poland. The only hope is beating Austria and even then it's basically home fixtures for Die Aussies since it's in Deutschland.

Should appoint Marek Papszun while he's still available. In other news, Lewandowski to miss opening game through injury. When Poland start playing attacking football, they'll do well.if they'll be playing same style as usual, that can stay home and save on the tickets.

Poland have a decent record v Austria. Fingers crossed. There are a couple of million Polish in Germany and a few players. Borussia , at first, would not allow Lewandowski to leave. My gut feeling is a semi final berth. Can one bet on getting to semi final or is it win or nothing. Been over 42 years since I’ve been near a bookies as I explained what happened so I do not bet

Poland are less possession, tippy tippy and old style counter attacking. Actually good to watch when in attack mode

They got hammered by Polish media for that game. Now playing 1990’s style counterattack football. Won last five game. Last v turkey on Friday. Turkey more possession, more shots but sczeszny was very good. Lewandowski was a bit part player. Goals now coming even from the back. Got a good gut feel about this. No more tippy tippy

They've won 4 of the last 5 (Wales was a draw) but when you scroll back further there are qualifying draws against Moldova, and defeats to Albania and Moldova. Lose to the Netherlands (as expected) in the first group game and it's all uphill from there...

I don't think any of the big sides in the last 5 years or so are as powerfully dominant as they once were, which is probably part of the reason England have had some success in recent times.
I'm going for an outsider getting to the final like Hungary or particularly Ukraine, who will be cheered on all the way by the neutrals and media.

The difficulty with international form is the length of time between games and the quality (or otherwise) of the opposition. Czech Republic, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia have all got decent recent form, but looking at the fixtures, their wins have not generally been against high quality opposition. It's quite an open tournament IMO.
