Just drawn Scotland & Germany in my work sweepstake! I've had worse.. I got Georgia ☹️ Me too lol. My money would be on a France v Portugal final. Sadly can't see England winning it, no chance we'll go 7 games without a defensive calamity and in the knockout stage it'll only take one. As an outsider to do well I quite fancy Hungary or Austria. |

Gutted I’m not going tbh, couldn’t get tickets in any of the UEFA ballots and I refuse to pay the resale prices. Would love to be just in the cities and fanzones for the atmosphere!

Was in Berlin for the 2006 world cup. Cheap flights as England were not there when we were and hotels were limited at charging no more than 25% above the normal rate. That wouldn't happen here. Loitering below the MOTD studio by the Brandenburg gate with a few other England fans to belt out 'Ray Stubbs is a legend' when they were on air. |

Yes a very tough group indeed for Poland. The only hope is beating Austria and even then it's basically home fixtures for Die Aussies since it's in Deutschland. Poland have a decent record v Austria. Fingers crossed. There are a couple of million Polish in Germany and a few players. Borussia , at first, would not allow Lewandowski to leave. My gut feeling is a semi final berth. Can one bet on getting to semi final or is it win or nothing. Been over 42 years since I’ve been near a bookies as I explained what happened so I do not bet Poland will definitely be well supported and having been immersed in WW2 documentaries recently, they've got my support as well.
I'm looking forward to seeing the Tartan army being back at a major tournament - probably more than the Scotland team.

I know they all hate us but I still root for them. I think it makes me feel smug and morally superior.
