“I think it’s clear to see this Club is just going to go higher and higher. There is a clear plan in place to take Bristol Rovers to the next level. I know the stature of the Club is already big but it’s exciting to think where it could be in the near future too. “With the improvements coming across the board, it’s a big challenge and an exciting one too. To play for a Club like this is going to be brilliant.” Let's just hope the owners can live up to the promises they seem to be making to the new players. Standard from a new signing …..big club , going places , excited to be here etc etc

I think someone has been telling them all what to say. They’re all basically saying the same.

Not getting carried away.
Worth noting that we have signed Leyton Orient's TOP scorer and TOP assists player from last season.
Similarly, midfielder Isaac Hutchinson was Walsall's TOP scorer and TOP assists player from last season.
Both played in the bulk of the matches for their side in 2023/24.
How different it feels to the failures to sign Chris Wood by Paul Trollope, James Constable by Mark McGee, Byron Harrison by Darrell Clarke and Clive Platt by Ray Graydon.
While football is a genuine team game goal creators and goal scorers ultimately make the difference between winning and losing.
At least one more forward player who scores goals would be desirable. Solid, strong and resilient foremost. If this forward was also calm, pacy and creative it would be ideal.

The business so far is going against the thinking that we haven’t got a clue what we’re doing! Very smart imo.

Had a quick look at Orients forum to see what they say about him as I know nothing about him at all, it's a side ways move apparently, not sure I agree with that poster

Don't know much about him, but it sounds like he has pace and movement.
Perhaps that will help Jevani Brown's game? With Collins played wide by JB and Martins lack of pace and movement, that must have seriously hindered Brown's ability to play the no 10 role, as when he got the ball there was not much forward options.
Wko knows if they click, we might see the Brown that Barton enthused about.
Also gives defenders an out ball, which we never really had last season, and that could help our defence no end.

1 in 4 for the last few seasons and looks to have played a decent amount of games. Could easily be the next Aaron Collins Can he shin up traffic lights? Welcome to Rovers, Ruel. It looks like the plan is beginning to come together - I prefer the signings to be kept "hush, hush", until they are announced.

Brown's seemingly lack of effort must have been his biggest hinderence? Given we don't seem as short as money as some posters like to make out I wouldn't be surprised if Brown isn't moved on and Rovers just cut their losses, you sense that towards the end of the season even MT gave up trying to get him to perform.

Welcome young man. Most supporters seem happy with the way we are setting out our season, but it does come with risk, lots of ‘potential’ but they’ll need results to keep the crowd. Hope this works cause if it does it’s can become a longer term plan. If it doesn’t it’s back to the drawing board 👍🏾
