About 150m will vote in the US elections. So if Trump dies win, it'll be decided upon by more people than the alleged population of the UK. Quite how the world needs God's help upon the election of a US President I don't know, but I shouldn't worry about it too much. There's a bigger threat to the world from companies such as BP, Facebook, McDonalds and Pfizer. Not by the Electoral college system. Anyway, we all know it's going to be 52/48, it always is. 😎 Which way though😮😮

That's based on the disaster that occurred last time with its divisions, economic and political self harm, loss of rights and general sh1te outcome.....😉 But at least he'll be restricted to only 4 years.

I agree, I sometimes read the other Rovers forum, and there are several on that site who think Trump will bring peace, Harris WWIII. I suspect they aren't alone, but a Trump presidency would be a disaster for European peace, possibly even wider.

Even more worrying?

Trump will end the war in Ukraine though. He’ll just give away Ukrainian land or refuse to give them weapons, Russia will be doing everything they can to ensure a Trump win.

Yep, and then Putin can rebuild then go again in a few years. The only consolation for Ukraine would be Nato membership as a precursor or sweetener to agreement. Can't see Putin agreeing to that, neutrality is his minimum. Would Ukraine swap the Donbas, Crimea and the existing land bridge corridor between the two for peace, Nato, and EU membership? Difficult one.

Any idiot can deliver peace if they give away another Country's territory to the aggressor. So the other folks view is we appease the appalling Putin and he will not see that as a sign of weakness for future attacks in Eastern Europe, they need a history lesson !!. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence will know that appeasement never works ,it's like trying to reason with the bully in the playground.

I'd also like to give them our decommissioned kit including any ships we pay off shortly, waive visa requirements and allow settled status for any already here. It's a fight we can't lose otherwise we may end up dealing directly. Got to keep Europe and the US onboard.

Trump. That's based on the disaster that occurred last time with its divisions, economic and political self harm, loss of rights and general sh1te outcome.....😉 But at least he'll be restricted to only 4 years. ...and hopefully restricted by a Democratic House from day one. Last time Republicans controlled both House and Senate for the first two years of his Presidential term which made it easier for him to pass bills. This time it's a toss-up as to who will get a majority in the House - pundits have it Republican 184 v Toss Up 24 v Democrat 173 - so all to play for.
