What about for away fans? Is there an admin fee? Do I need an electrical wallet?

I'm all for the club making a profit but I do feel that this is a bit TTP.
There should be a friendly game that this event is wrapped around.
Sell more beer, happy youngsters, sell more merch.

Jesus, the club get it a fun fair etc and you are complaining about a very minimal fee!
The club is trying not to lose money and has come up with a new approach but again it’s wrong!

Dont funfair/independent food stalls etc usually pay a pitch for this type of event and then anything they take is theirs? ie no loss to the organisors and in return the stall holders can get potentially more profit. A question for Keysey maybe? It does seem strange that the club seems to have hired the rides up front, with probably a huge potential loss if there is awful weather etc but conversely, if pre season results are great, we make a marque signing, the weather is great and the club promote the event to non Rovers fans and it is a great night, then there is potential for a big money maker and it may attract new fans. TBH, I would give free tickets to the local residents. Who knows, major Nimby at no 82 might have a 5 year grandson, who has a great night and catches the Rovers bug and any anti development feeling may be reduced due to the joy of the grandson. Cheap tickets to local students as well.

This was all discussed a few days ago wasn't it?
It includes all rides etc, so a good deal for some, a bad deal for others (if they don't use the rides).
Some people will save money, if they have kids. I know how much it normally costs me to go to the fair 🤣

I don't expect anything for free, they used to do it for free, they still make money from food and beer, this is the sort of thing that pulls new fans in, if they charge then it won't happen

Is this not the normal thing for fairs these days. I drove past one last summer with a £15 entry fee advertised, no more paying for individual rides one price to get in and then all rides are free.

Agree. However, there are Fairs and there are fairs Rovers style. How many different rides would you expect for £7? One? Two? Three? More? One thing that Rovers have taught me in the past is that there is Santa's Grotto and there is Santa's grotto Rovers style...
