I won't be going then, it's not about the money it's the principle, stick it up your ass You were one of the most outspoken posters when some fans didn't want Barton in charge but now you have to pay £7 to go to a club event you suddenly discover you have principles?? what has JB got to do with it, if a club wants to attract new fans surly this sort of thing is the way to do it but to charge them to enter imo is wrong, they will make plenty from sales inside, they don't have to charge to get in aswell, like I said this is my opinion

Given the club charged a similar amount last year it's hardly a surprise they are changing again this summer.

Rovers have announced the Funday for Thursday, 1st August. Admission prices are £7 for an adult and £5 for children. This gives you unlimited access to the fairground rides, live music, player signing sessions. Further details here. There is also an offer for 2 adults and 2 children of £15. So taking my 3 kids and the Mrs would cost £20. Not sure the kids would have any interest in meeting the players tbh and nor do I If the fairground rides are actually good then maybe the kids would enjoy it. The main thing really is it is usually a chance to see (and buy) the new kit. But do we have any confidence that the home & away kits will be available by then?

Been told apparently there’s an announcement tomorrow regarding the new shirts 👍🏾

This was all discussed a few days ago wasn't it? It includes all rides etc, so a good deal for some, a bad deal for others (if they don't use the rides). Some people will save money, if they have kids. I know how much it normally costs me to go to the fair 🤣 Think it depends on how many and which rides , if it’s ten reasonably good rides great value. If it’s 2 or 3 small rides not so 👍🏾

So for £15 2 adults & 2 children can have a afternoon out & the kids can have as many rides as they like, personally in these times I don't think it's too expensive.

Over holiday weekends, there's usually a small funfair at the marina down the road from me and the rides usually work out £3-4 each, with two kids easy to get through £30 in an hour or so.

Bar serving Beer Larger Wine Cider, burger and chips after the first 45 minutes of entry.
Then rides, bar everything stops for 15 minutes. (Sorry kids) Then go again for 45 minutes.
All for an additional £20.
Marketing at its absolute best. 😁😁😁

Just got an email about the funday. I thought it was bad enough charging adults £7 to go but continue reading and they're charging £5 for kids tickets!
Charging children to go to the funday is just unfathomable, who on earth comes up with these ideas?!

I can see it being like the Family Fun Day at the Phoenix Club in Phoenix Nights. The louder you scream, the faster the ride. Remember fun is the key but remain seated at all times. Or you may die. Shabba. Wonder if sammy snake will make an appearance?
