Went to the clubhouse bar and bought two pints of Thatchers. I got charged £9. £4.50 a pint. Ridiculous I don't like saying this, but £4.50 is on the cheapside these days, I'd be interested to know anywhere on Gloucester Road you can get a pint for less than that. Me and a mate went to Inn on the Green, Sportsman, Grace and Industry on Saturday and I think every round of two pints was near enough £12. |

I was in millennium square on the weekend for a friends birthday and a pint of cider and a glass of wine was setting me back £18 in Brew dog and it was just a loud noisy bar with no soul.
If I can still get a pint for less than a fiver then I consider that decent these days.

Clearly I took advantage of the £4.50 Thatchers too much.
I was being a little sarcastic. We have been charged £6 a pint since the start of the season and then I go to the bar last night and save £3. I even checked with the bar staff that was correct. Apparently it was happy hour until 19:30.
I don't remember anyone mentioning it was happy hour until 19:30 in the bar and I don't remember seeing it on any socials.

Couldnt get hold of the monthly magazine due on 1 October as not printed yet
Was offered the chance to buy Septembers issue!
If Blackpool is off the next home game is about 20 something so the magazine will be well out of date by then.
To be fair it is a good read,but surely someone must have got the drafts ready?
Keith always got the programme done and up to date if we were playing on the Tuesday following a Saturday game.
Maybe they were waiting for news on Taylor?
