We went down a similar route with BG then Wael panicked when it looked like we might get dragged into a relegation fight, it's OK signing kids but you also need wise heads in the team like TC to school them, I'm not sure if Wilson and Martin are wise heads or both hot heads, plus a decent manager and I haven't a clue if MT's really going to do any better than BG. I'm not sure paying £500K on PC is finding under developed talent to sell on, as we'll have to go some to get a profit from any future sale. Not sure, I agree on the PC comment. Yes major risk, but if they can make him in to quality league 1 striker in the next 2 seasons, there’s no reason at 25, why you could not get 1 to 2 million for him. Just look at Peterborough. Probability of it happening only GF and Taylor knows. We didn't manage to do it with AC!! |
