Most important: Dont forget its a 5.30pm kick off!
Looks like most seats have sold, still some to be had in the south west Plenty of terrace - really should look at doing U18 for a tenner for terrace spot maybe?
Northampton seem to have sold 80% ish of the seats in block J
Hopefully 1 or 2 more arrivals before next Saturday

I will be happy with three points however we get them. So long since we did that in the opening league game...

Got tickets for Northampton and Cardiff, looking forward to having that early season optimism smashed to pieces after the opening game meltdown!

Got tickets for Northampton and Cardiff, looking forward to having that early season optimism smashed to pieces after the opening game meltdown! Me too. We’re based in Yorkshire but me and the boy are taking a well timed trip to visit my Mum, so will be there next Saturday and then also at Rotherham the following weekend. Equal amounts of excitement and trepidation!

when did we last win at home on the first day of the season? Possibly in our Black Arabs days?

Sure will be sold out. Anything else is poor by us imo.
I hope the club gets the tone right this season. Everything about the pre match. What's going on fan zone, in bar, building the excitement. The music played in the ground in the lead up to kick off.
It's all about emotions, if a limp vibe is given I find that is what the supporters give during the game.
Every match needs to feel like we are going to battle and fans are pumped getting behind the team.

We are playing very unattractive opposition + loads of Gasheads will be on holiday. When was the last time we sold out for a league match? We will be doing well to get 8,000. ps I have my ticket

Low season ticket sales and a general lack of excitement and apathy about the club at the minute. It's going to be a slow start to the season on and off the field with a completely new team.

Watching this one from France …
Son is going on his own and standing in the Thatchers at his own request. Will be putting two West Stand seats back into circulation tomorrow…
Interesting what has been said about tone etc… it’s vital. Fan Zone needs a lot of attention, toilets need cleaning occasionally and ideally being open. It seriously is Car Boot level … be nice to have some seats for those of us with knackered knees too.
Please please please … No more Ben Gunstone when we lose at home … FFS you might as well put a Gallows up and we all go hang ! Russian funeral music would be better or even Bright side of Life !

First game of the season I would expect there to be enough casual gasheads wanting to watch us. If not I wonder where the 17k is ever going to come from.

We won't sell out the 12k we have this season let alone 17k. It's being built in the hope we make the championship and can build the fan base. I honestly don't think we'd get 17k even in the champ unless challenging at the right end. Our supporter base is dwindling. Too many years of stagnation and truly awful facilities has cost us massively with the sh*t taking full advantage.

"our supporter base is dwindling" until there's a chance we'll play a top Premiership side and then they all suddenly return.
Greater Bristol's population is more than big enough to support two professional football clubs, if it wasn't I doubt the owners would even contemplate increasing the ground capacity.
