With SS7 getting captain and Hunt getting injured, i think there is probably just 1 CB position up for grabs depending on Taylors fitness.

Very disappointed to miss Saturdays opener. Mrs BG blue lighted to hospital early Wednesday, breathing problems. Turns out she has Covid, now much improved but for obvious reasons although I feel OK, will be giving our first game a miss Get well soon Mrs BG! 🏴☠️ |

If Sotiriou is fit surely we need a striker on the bench otherwise if we need a goal late on McCormick will be the only option on the bench, assuming Thomas replaces Sinclair at some point. I doubt Lindsay will be too impressed if he doesn't even start on the bench tomorrow. |

Can’t praise the hospital enough, from gasping for breath and a sky high temperature to relative normality in a few hours. They even did a chest xray, ct head scan, Mir head scan and echo heart scan to confirm no damage had been done.
Picked her up tonight and apart from being very tired is ok. I have not avoided it, runny nose and a cough but breathing ok.
Giving the game a miss as I bring an 80+ gashead and didn’t want to pass anything on to him.
Hospital said there is still loads of Covid around but protocols are out the window now and staff can even go to work with Covid. Herd immunity is the reason given.
Will be watching tomorrow on sky and very envious of those going. At last a rovers side with loads of pace, will be interesting to see how the season pans out.

But i think so for tomorrow I’d much prefer Thomas to start tbh. Sincs has presumably done well during training and friendly matches but I’ve largely been disappointed with him since his return. Having not followed preseason much where do you and others think Connor Taylor stands with MT - is he likely to be a bit out of favour or is he being nursed back in after last season’s injury? |

Taylor starts when 100% fit, no doubt
The first game 11 unlikely to be the one that clicks and makes the most appearances, players will come to the fore, others will drift.

Actually looking forward to an opening home game,usually already have a defeat under our belts and the pressure to win is already on.
Hopefully not too warm so we get a decent game,and maybe a win.
