Yes we are used to just the one camera angle and I am not expecting more at the Mem, but at least there were always replays on iFollow. Not being able to watch highlights or full match replays (which is very useful for many overseas supporters with time differences etc) whilst charging £40 more than iFollow cost isn't a very good deal. Very interesting perspective. Over 46 games that is about an 80p increase per game. Some have had to pay more than that per game for their season ticket and the 'Stadium facilities' probably are no where as good as yours...🤣 (Unless you also have urine all over your bathroom floor and have to queue 10 mins to get a drink). You have a choice, either pay or don't pay, it's free market economics. It looks like Rovers are trying to take back control of the media side of things, give them time. They have lots to catch up when compared to a Championship club. Its more of an observation (rather than a complaint) to say that as of now, BRTV isn't as good as iFollow was. The introduction of iFollow was a revaluation for us overseas fans allowing us to watch our team again every week and I am grateful I still have that opportunity. I've still paid up for the season and I do hope the club now get a bigger cut of the money as opposed to what they got through iFollow.

Problem is you can see fans voting with their wallets and deciding that a £40/30%(?) increase isn't worth it for an inferior product, particularly with so many games on Sky, so easily available one way or the other.

So yesteray's coverage was better than last week. Different camera angles and replays. Although the commentary was out of sync with the action. I do wonder though if its up to each club how they want to provide coverage? It wouldn't surprise me to see only the one camera angle and no replays again at our next home game. I also cannot find anywhere that shows highlights or full match replays to those who have subscribed. Therefore, at £40 more for the year than iFollow was, its still currently an inferior product. I also experienced the commentary being a few seconds later than the video, this was not corrected by logging off and re-connecting, so it could be a technical fault? Any comment from those who provide BRTV?

Exactly what I was saying. Free market economics. If they feel it's an inferior product and no longer want to pay for it, then they don't have to. I remember us having a discussion previously on elasticity of demand. I still think Rovers is reasonably price inelelastic for most of us.

Any comment from those who provide BRTV? Just needed someone to press pause for two secs on the tv transmission et voila ! Hopefully glitches like this are swiftly sorted as it was very frustrating.

For sure a lot less people will sign up this season. With the fact so many more games are on Sky and no longer iFollow matches for weeknight games for those in the UK. Having said that, each single game is still £10 (same as last season) so you may still get a similar amount of supporters using VPN's paying for individual matches. As a comparison, it looks like other clubs are also charging £180 per season. I looked at Bolton and Northampton. The only difference being that Bolton offer full match replays to subscribers. They also have an additional package of £50 per season to access match replays, highlights and other content which is also available for those in the UK) and they have an app to watch it all on.

It certainly is when Premiership teams are now charging up to £80 for replica shirts! As far as football on TV is concerned there's so many games on Sky today that they now overlap, so it's impossible to watch them all live.

If your going to watch Rovers on BRTV regularly then you may as well just got a half or full season ticket, do we have that many genuine overseas fans to offer them so many options, or are they really aimed at the VPN crowd? Genuine overseas fans will probably buy a full or half season. The monthly and match by match is probably a nod to UK based virtual tourists. When I visit my sister in New Zealand I used to buy individual games via I Follow. 2 or 3 per visit. The same when on any other break abroad but usually only 1 match. The £10/game option and buying on the spot was ideal. Hopefully this hasn’t changed as it makes sense for those genuinely temporarily overseas but still buying through their account on a UK card.

You're still able to buy match passes for £10 or whatever the NZ equivalent is. Or save yourself some money if we're playing 3 or 4 times with a monthly pass for £25.

Apart from the time lag on the sound track and a couple of minutes of pixellating during the second half. I thought the production values were pretty good. Would I pay £20? Depends on who we were playing and whether there was anything resting on it. £920 to watch a season of third tier football looks a bit steep!

I certainly would pay £20 for a game while I was overseas. In fact when ifollow first came out, I remember being on holiday in France and being well happy I could watch Rovers.

Question for anyone watching new SkySports+ channels via NOW TV app on their tv... Any problems getting access to all games? Remember this used to be an issue sometimes when SKY was showing multiple games.
Might get the monthly deal today...

Got a mail recently for 19.99 a month. Probably because not subscribed in years, but have done now. Dunno if you can phone for a better deal.
