I am a bit slow on the uptake. How do I get it, how much does it cost and is it where I can pay to watch live games?
If yes will the Caribo cup game on Tuesday be shown live.?
I am an old man so be gentle with me 😀

BRTV is for overseas fans only. If you live abroad then the link below will give you the subscription options: www.bristolrovers.co.uk/video-packagesIf you live in the UK,the only Rovers games you'll be able to watch (legally) are those selected by Sky.

You can only watch BRTV games if you're are an "overseas" fan and I don't believe Sky allow you to pay per match.

So it is more difficult to watch us with this new deal then?
Ifollow with a VPN was a piece of cake for me.

Do you not need to register a foreign address?

Do you not need to register a foreign address? No just turn on location and it recognises you are abroad. That's all they need

I watched Saturday's game on BRTV. As before, they use radio Bristol commentary. Unfortunately, there were no replays showed, not stats or anything like that were shown. So at the moment, its £40 more than iFollow was (for the year) and an inferior product.
I am still trying to find out if you will be able to watch full match replays if you have a season pass. This is important to me for weeknight matches when I don't want to stay up until almost 1am. I used to watch the replay the following morning on iFollow without finding out the score. Although last season iFollow started taking at least a day or more to put the full replay online when they used to do it within a few hours.

Needs a good internet/wifi connection for HD.

Although a Sky customer it appears to me that although I can watch Rovers games when broadcast on Sky, I will miss out on a significant number of games because of the loss of ifollow via a VPN. Looking at the club website only overseas supporters on production of an overseas address can purchase access to all games. I am registered with BRTV and purchased streams for all the four friendlies that were streamed on that platform. Hopefully someone can confirm my thoughts right or wrong?

You haven't lost anything, you shouldn't have had access in the first place you naughty boy/girl.

If the club used the correct software they can easily stop any VPN from working... i bet they are happy for the extra income our "overseas" VPN users generate

Best I found for it so far was £26 a month for the first 6 months when it then goes to the usual £33

There was(is?) only one sky box to police and they couldn't even do that! I don't think for a second we are in control of the infrastructure for Rovers TV. It looks like most teams have changed to the new website layout and the <insertnameofteam>TV. Its very generic.

I was told my deal (£20) was auto renewing at the current best price (£26), but having used NowTV for a while and knowing how they work, I just went to cancel and they offered 6 months at £20 a month to stay. Will do the same in 6 months. If you can only get £26 for 6 months, you should be offered a lower deal when you go to cancel.

I assume Sky Sports plus only gives coverage of live games so would still need BRTV for the majority of games, assuming you are overseas.
