That'll be confusing when shouting at the linesman!

Having already having 2-3 inexperienced wing backs on the left, I thought we might have gone for someone with a bit more experience and a bit different to what we have already.

Weird signing if true. Already got Mola who looks more than good enough and Bilongo.

Well maybe so, but he was very good at LB last night.

Weird signing if true. Already got Mola who looks more than good enough and Bilongo. Plus Micah Anthony just signed us a young left wing back.

Bit of a coup, looked set to join a Championship club on loan.

Am I right in saying leauge one sides are restricted to 22 players over 21 ?. If so this signing won't count to our overall squad number . It may of been mentioned on forum. What is our present squad number of over 21s ? Have we still a place for a striker?

Weird signing if true. Already got Mola who looks more than good enough and Bilongo. It doesn’t really matter - he’s under the age of 22 and adds depth to the squad. It still leaves scope to sign another couple of players over the age of 22, either permanent or loans plus a goalkeeper. I also expect at least one ‘front’ man’ signing soon.

As we still have no experience at left back and will have him plus the 3 we have already. It will take away opportunities for our own players.

The club are building long term not just for this season. I don’t think Mola is seen as a permanent left back option.

The way I see it is:
Mola - will play LCB in a 3atb and LB in a 4atb but rarely LWB. Sousa - will play LWB in a 3atb and LB in a 4atb. Bilongo - will play LWB in a 3atb but may be utilised further forward now (looks way better in the final third than defensive third). Micah - primarily a winger, not a WB.
Either way, good to have options and depth. Sousa will be our fourth loan, so one spot left in the matchday squad. We really could do with another striker, I think.

One was a friendly and one was in the championship though and you can't fully judge after one game! But I was hoping Anthony would get a chance, this might stop that from happening though.

I'm 'skirting' around the obvious flooring puns You can start by sweeping that one under the carpet. An actor I know fell through the floor recently. It's just a stage he was going through. 🏴☠️

All well and good bringing in all these defenders, unfortunately they don’t score you goals apart from the odd one or two. Everybody knows we want a proven goalscorer!
