That'll be confusing when shouting at the linesman! Let’s hope he’s familiar with the off side rule.

Welcome to the gas He got loan offers from Watford and QPR and clearly should not be at league one levels so I hope he thrives playing in blue and white quarters UTG

Clearly this guys got something for Aston Villa to sign him from Arsenal in January and immediately send him on loan to a Championship side at 18. From what I’ve seen in the last two games, Mola will be a great centre back in a back 5, so it’s nice to have wingback options now when playing that system. Mola also looked a decent LB last night, I can never understand the obsession with making FB's into CB's, JB managed to ruin Hoole's Rovers career doing similar. There is no obsession. Mola is versatile and can play numerous roles, including the CB role which he has been playing since coming through as a 15/16-year-old.

Regardless he's going to excel at one and Reading seemed to think that was as a full back, I don't follow Chelsea enough to know where he played for them but most websites suggest his main position was full back. MT must have decided he's now going to play CB so we'll have to see how he performs in that role, Saturday v JCH & Nombe should be a good test.

I doubt there is much in it, but I bet he has played more times as a centre half than full back. His last appearance for England at U21 level came at CB and previous to that his last three U20 appearances came at CB and then at U19 level all his Euro Qualifying games came at CB. But having said that, I'm sure you know better than the England decision makers. 😆

It's not like your a shrinking violet yourself who never complains about MT. I assume you'll be telling Dan Hargreaves he's also got it wrong: "while Mola has mainly played as the left-side centre-back of a back-three but played back in his natural left-back position in Tuesday night's 2-0 Carabao Cup defeat at Cardiff City."

I'd certainly point out the same as I did to you...the fact the England selectors saw and played him more as a CB and the fact he played more times as a CB (according to transfermarkt) than LB during his career.

Given MT has apparently given Lino "assurances" that sounds like game time so where does that leave Bilongo as they both can start at LWB?

Yesterday, Bilongo looked all at sea defending against admittedly a couple of decent players when the game was stretched, but it showed that we definitely needed another left sided defender, so I’m pleased to see that addressed today. I’m not knocking Bilongo. He definitely has potential but at present I can see him playing further upfield and maybe quite often off the bench to start with. We’re in need of a more dynamic presence further upfield so Sousa coming in potentially solves two problems.

BB scores 10 this season as a part time winger / last 10 minute striker.

Weird signing if true. Already got Mola who looks more than good enough and Bilongo. Mola is seen as a LCB not a wing back And bolongo looks better further forward.

I see bilongo more as a LW that can play LWB. Played well up front as well. Would certainly rather he was attacking than defending. I've been impressed by him in the two games I've seen him in, one of my favourite players already. Sousa would add more LWB/LB cover.

Could see us using Bilongo when playing a team playing a low block. Against the better teams, he probably is sacrificed for Mola and/or Sousa
