Away to much fancied Rotherham and JCH probably starting up front for them. Do we stick with Saturday’s side or does the new lad come in at left back ? Martin on the bench ?

Think Sousa should start, Senior too. I'd be tempted to start Thomas up with Hutch and not Sinclair. Martin and Sotirou to come on and do the business.

I've never been impressed with Thomas when he's played in that role previously for Rovers. Given Sinclair has been made club captain he really needs to step up a gear and justify accepting that role.

352 Thomas and bolongo up front. Basically how we played last 20 v Northampton keeping it on the deck wingbacks overlapping boom !!

got to get Thomas in the starting 11 hes the only one that doesnt look shocked to receive the ball in the final third. I'm also a massive fan of Sincs because he actually has football intelligence but clearly he isnt a forward.
Not sure i'd want McCormick up front for any longer than 15 mins.
Senior should start this weekend and the 3 centre backs clearly should keep their spots after last week as for the rest its anyones guess.

Optimistic about this one as Rotherham have started with a loss at Exeter. I know it’s just one league game but I think it’s probably a good time to play them. JCH hasn’t done well against us since he left and think Taylor Moore will do well against him Draw for me but hoping we pinch a win

Let's hope for three wins before the last week of the transfer window...we're far more likely to be able to sign the real quality that is available at the last minute if points are already on the board...

GRIFFITH
MOORE WILSON MOLA
SENIOR CONTEH WARD LINO
HUTCH
THOMAS OMOCHERE
Plenty of options from the bench - I’d like to see Thomas given free rein right up alongside Promise and told to run at them.
Bring on fresh legs in Garrett, Bilongoal, Sincs Luke and Martin to finish ‘em off!!

Change it . Starting 11 moving Mola to left back and Wilson to left central which would enable us to bring in Connor Taylor. His heading dominance will be important . Senior or the right.
Conteh and Garett to play deep midfield in tangent with Hutchinson the attackikng midfield player. Front 3 of Thomas on the right , Sincs on the left and Omochere in the middle .

most encouraging thing about the team is that we have a nearly fully fit squad to select from , when was the last time that happened at league one level . I can't remember, certainly not over the past two seasons. There are so many decent players to pick from I wouldn't know where to start. Omochere and Satoriou are our first choice no 9 and 10 so you would think we would start upfront with those two. As for the rest there is to big a choice to hazard a guess as who will be picked.

Jury is still out on Thomas for me... I really do like him and seems like a nice kid - but his end product really isn't great... Definitely would be a really good player if he could sort out his final ball and finishing but does leave a lot to be desired sometimes.

Agree, the most frustrating player I can remember watching in a long time but I doubt he'd be playing for Rovers if his decision making wasn't a bit iffy.

Personally when everyone is fully up to speed I can't see where Thomas gets into the starting line up he just dosent deliver often enough.

Particularly when cutting inside. Sadly I don't think other players read his passes and are too slow to connect. For me he would be the first on the team sheet every week.

Plus Bilongo has been here since the start of pre season and has settled in. Sousa has to earn his spot and should start on the bench. He didn't look ready for senior football last season, although that was in a higher league.

My thinking was we might need more defensively away to Rotherham, he was a great outlet against the Northampton tactics. But you are right, I have now idea how good Sousa is! Definitely want to stick to a back 3 with Mola LCB tho. Glad its not my call!

Also look at the precision in his corner taking and the goal on saturday . Nearly every other player can't beat the first man at near post when taking coners.

Agree that ball was sublime, the only thing i will say is he lacks confidence sometimes to go on his own,he will always unselfishly pass it when sometimes he needs to back himself more and have the conviction to get his shot away when in good positions.
