I looked recently as well. Still unattached I believe. Pretty poor from his agent not to have fixed him up somewhere. It’s hard to believe nobody would have him in L2. His versatility is quite useful even if it’s not clear quite what his best position is. Perhaps Grant just wants to chill out for a few months, that's the impression he's giving from his Insta account, it's all a bit odd he's not fixed himself up with another club. I thought this, def seems to be still on hols rather than busting a gut to get a team. Hope he gets another chance |

Kyrie Pierre came on with 15 minutes to go and scored the winner for Villa u21s in the EFL Trophy v Ryan Broome's Fleetwood.
Pierre was the older of the 2 academy kids who joined Villa for rumoured £100k plus a few years ago.
I think he is 17 or 18, but Borrows is still only 16? Hope we have got the appropriate sell on clauses.
Lamare Bogarde also played.

Vaguely on topic anyone heard if Josh Grant fixed himself up anywhere? Can't find anything about him on twitter and I believe he's the only one we released last season that hasn't found a club. Personally wasn't a huge fan even when he was fully fig, but assuming he still wants/is able to play football I'm surprised he hasn't been able to find someone to take him on an incentivised contract - his injury record is (just about) better than Rossiter. I quite liked him and saw him have good games. But in League 2 tbh. Unlucky with injuries but good luck to him. It goes under the radar but come the end he must have been one of the longest serving BRFC players wasn’t he? Was one of Tommy W and Ben Gs signings wasn’t he in Summer ‘20? I wish him well in whatever he does. I think he deserves a few rolls of the dice in his favour. UTG! |
