In all my years of watching football, I don`t think I`ve ever seen a player so clearly superior to everyone else on the pitch. Didn`t play that many games for us, but great memories! |

Alfie Kilgour made his comeback from a long-term injury on Sat - they brought him on to go up front! Excellent news. Horrible timing for that injury, good lad, good player, deserves a good career. |

I like the way he demanded the ball, not used to seeing a rookie playing like that. But he had the talent to back it up! Yes he looked many levels above all other players on the pitch. Lambert also looked at least a level above but not quite Anderson’s standard. |

Marquis also got an assist today, his stats are probably now better than Sortiriou's!! Pirate's top tip to replace MT, Rob Elliot, has got off to a shocking start at Crawley, that's now 5 straight defeats for them. |

The shocking start is the 10 goals Crawley have conceded in his first 3 games in charge before he was appointed they were only conceding 1 or 2 goals at most a game. If Shrewsbury put 5 past us on the 22nd then I think I'll just delete my season ticket from Google Pay. |

I was at Sutton v Gateshead last night, and Charlie Colkett came on as a late sub for the visitors. He is 28 now. I thought he looked OK when he was with us and that he would have a decent league career. He spent three years in the Swedish second division. He scored 3 goals in 15 appearances for us, a midfield goal machine, but only 3 more in over 100 games after going back to Chelsea. I hope he does well at Gateshead. And all respect to the 50 Gateshead fans who turned up last night, its a long way to deepest south London.
