Lots of goals, Daly (second of the season), Sercs, Billy Bodin (second of the season)
And Connolly got the hook after 30 odd mins as Crewe 4 down at home.

Liam Sercombe’s goals for FGR yesterday at Boston are worth a watch, especially the first one, already must be in with a shout for goal of the season.

A clean sheet for Jed Ward (including an 89th minute penalty save 🧤) And a brilliant save from the corner which led to the penalty.

I saw Jamie Cureton manage Cambridge City at the weekend, they went down 2-1 away in the Cup to Great Yarmouth Town.

Nice one! I had hoped when we played Norwich away it would be a weird kick off time and I'd somehow be able to combine it with a trip there but not to be!

Greenslade and Jones both scored.
Always felt the EFL trophy should have been used to give them some time.
Hopefully Shaw and Dewsbury can be the start of giving some of the youngsters some match experience that is a step up from friendlies.

Elliot Anderson and Jarell Quansah called up for the u21’s. Has Anderson decided where his international allegiances lie? He has represented Scotland throughout all the youth levels and even got a call up to the full squad last year but is now back in the England fold.
