I can’t think of any good forwards at this level who would score playing in this team. There is no creativity from midfield - imo playing Conteh & Grant in the same team is a waste of a player - Hutchinson just not showing anything apart from having no left leg. Bilongo also now showing his limitations at this level - another David Tutonda? Early days still but not looking too good despite early optimism

I thought we looked OK. We do have to put into context that this is away at what looks like being one of the strongest teams in the league. Fevrier is a great player and caused all sorts of problems. I thought we were reasonably solid and not that much between us. The main difference is we need someone who can finish. We had good opportunities just couldn't put them away.

We've now scored in just 3 of our last 14 league games. Different players same result. Same manager, same result, about time the owners woke up and smelt the coffee before another season just passes us by. |

For some reason we’ve recruited to play a 352 but have players more suited to playing 4231 while leaving out players who were recruited to play the 352 🤯🤦♂️

Very frustrating and worrying.
The lack of fire power is very concerning... Everyone wants a 1 in 3 striker... we look like a 1 in 3 team. Think we need an attacking Mid and a Striker.

An admission that we haven’t got it right? We have Hutch, McCormick, Shaw, Garrett…. Personally I thought we just looked sluggish with Ward and Conteh not able to drive forward, whereas their midfield was excellent. Where was Lindsay today? Injured? Getting the balance right in the middle will enable us to be more dangerous going forward. Time to be brave and give Shaw a go behind a front 2? UTG |

Unfortunately it went the way I expected, the midfield same as last season almost nonexistent. Front 2 lack of service, but Promise yet to beat a player. Stockport face the opposition face on, always hunting with menace looking to hurt you. We are always side on or back to goal. Sorry to be pessimistic so early in the season, but we have not looked great in the first 2 games, we got lucky, today we got found out. I have a feeling Taylor could be gone by Christmas and a dog fight awaits, but I live in hope and truly hope to be proven wrong - the jury is out, but the outlook is not looking good 🤞 UTFG.

Listening to MT on RB there would seem to be no urgency to bring in a striker …
Unless the owners have given him absolute assurances I think sadly that if we don’t find someone it will cost him his job.
