I applauded the substitution. The miss from Dawsons late cross was bloody embarrassing. Admittedly he should have used his feet rather than his head.

Really good first half, even Lockyer played well in the middle,i thought today also summed up Taylor, played well, scored and an assist but could and probably should of had a hat trick. Thought Lincoln did their homework on us down the left, they stifled Brown and Monkhouse well, but with Dawson down the right we had a real threat. Three more points and on to the next game Taylor didn't score. Of course,Brown got the first, silly me

Didn't really know where to place this, but someone commented on the Cheltenham Town Facebook page, 'it'll take time for the new players Buckle has brought in to gel'...
Just made me chuckle.

Rovers played well today. We opened up Lincoln several times thanks to neat interplay. Dawson looks very promising. Has the ball under control all the time and isn't afraid to try a trick or a flick.
Taylor played out of his skin today - great touch, excellent interplay , ran himself into the ground (and the Lincoln cbs ). Such a shame he didn't get the goal he fully deserved.
A 4 or 5 goal win would have been a fair reflection.
Now let's start games on the front foot and play like this AWAY. If we can we could easily go on a 5 or 6 game winning run.

Points from my neutral Arsenal supporting mate which I thought were interesting:
Very professional performance. It almost looked like an FA game against a lower league team the way Lincoln just closed shop right from the off. Described us as "fast and direct" but with too many long aerial passes (don't we all know).
Interestingly felt Blissett was lazy in general play. No dummys or much movement at all. However right after he'd said that Blissett did a brilliant piece of defending so he had to take that back a bit.

Just got back from the game thought Taylor was very unlucky not to score today but his running and hold up play was quality especially for Blissetts goal.Could of been 5 or 6 goals today hitting the woodwork 3 times. Dawson gave us more width and with his pace skill on the ball caused them problems all game.I think giving Dawson M.O.M.today could have been a good ploy to perhaps persuade him to stay to the end of the season.UTG

I applauded the substitution. The miss from Dawsons late cross was bloody embarrassing. But it was his assist for the second , was also his attempt at goal which led to the deflection to Parkes leading up to the free kick/first goal. I can't recall one serious attempt on goal today where he wasn't involved, whereas Blisset alongside him did little apart from score his goal.

Dawson looked very promising. Was reminding my bro of his amazing footwork on video that we actually saw flashes of. Not just a showman. I do hope we can keep him, motm well deserved (although prob would have gone Taylor personally)

Taylors best is nothing short of bloody woeful. His attempts at scoring today were shocking. If you are happy with that then so be it.

Taylors performance today reminded me of Francis Lee in his heyday. Spent 90% of the game on his backside after falling over with the slightest touch from a defender. The only difference being that given the chances he had today, Lee would have scored at least three or four of them!

Pity Dawson didn't play all 90 mins last week, mud or no mud.

I listened to the Radio Lincoln commentary today or a change. Interesting they described Taylor as really skilful, incredibly unlucky and a joy to watch On of them said they always enjoyed watching him at FGR. nice to have a different viewpoint

Interesting they described Taylor as really skilful, incredibly unlucky and a joy to watch On of them said they always enjoyed watching him at FGR. nice to have a different viewpoint I thought that was the most influential I've seen him today. Terrific individual performance. Shame he didn't get one but when you hit the wood twice I guess it's not to be. Of course, if the handball had been given he would presumably have scored the pen.
Then again, like all players, he always says that whether he scores or not is unimportant, as long as he helps us win. If he means it, he'll be happy tonight; if he's fibbing, he'll be well p1ssed off lol!

I need to see the first one again which hit the bar but it seemed it fell to him quickly and he was desperately unlucky for it to come off the underside of the bar, the second one the goalie made a brilliant reflex save, the third one lead to Parkes foul, the forth one was a brilliant shot from distance which the goalie luckily deflected over his goal, the fifth diving header was the only one he should have score but an 3" the other way and it would have been a goal. Anyway last week you were complaining he never looks like scoring more than once this week he looked like scoring 4 or 5 times. Regardless what's the point of constant criticism as until Easter's fit there's no other options, only possibly Harrison but his late attempt cleared the Blackthorn end!

No need to tell me. I was there. Shocking attempts. The bloke is crap. Who fancies a whip round to get Tbone a shirt with 'Taylor' on the back? Or get Taylor a shirt with Tbone off his back?
