2 goals last night from the £10M man. 27,000+ crowd. Beckham, Brady, Deadpool and his mate watching.
Nothing to worry about here, we're still going to win the League.

If you believe transfermarket .co.uk we spent 750k this summer Birmingham spent 29.9 million I actually think it's more than that when considering the tribunals/undisclosed (and counting the whole fees instead of 'amortised over contract') given transfermarkt lists them as 'free transfers'. Promise - £500k Hutchinson - £250k Shaq - £200k Sotiriou - £200k Bilongo/Mola - would've had to pay fees as they're under 24 I think? Assume max £200k total. Pushing towards £1.5m. So 5% of Brum's expenditure instead of 2.5% - MASSIVE!!!

JCH for £800K and virtually guaranteed 20+ goals for 3 seasons, or PC at £700K with a massive question mark will he even score 10+ goals a season.

Well no matter how much they spent on Stansfield the lad can finish. Not the biggest not the quickest and not the stongest but he knows where to be and he can finish!! I though watching the Game last night (which i really enjoyed as a football match) as both Teams had a go, plenty of passion and some good football. I read this post before and I think all the people at the start thinking Birmingham will struggle look a little silly! They will water League 1! Wrexham wont be far away, but after the Game I also thought wow, the standard of Football wand passion was right up there and we are MILES of that! don't want to concede anything to early but if anyone thinks will we can compete with probably anyone in the Top 5 at the moment needs to give there head a wobble! a few teams still have a game in hand a couple of Clubs not in there correct positions due to playing the said top 5 Clubs already! My Fear is that this money wont last for ever and reality will sink in and apart from a slightly younger squad its back to square one!

I appreciate we're miles off but after B'ham, Huddersfield and Wrexham the rest are just average teams, Charlton as an example were just as poor as us last season and Stockport are hardly a big side, money wise, in L1.

Birmingham will be miles ahead of everyone. Huddersfield will be top 2 IMO too. Wrexham I feel their bubble will burst and finish around 10th - they've spent a few quid, but watching them last night I wasn't impressed at all.

From what I was told on Saturday we broke our transfer record and paid £700,000 for Forde this includes add ons , so Omachere record didn't last long. That doesn't surprise me as he came from a Championship club, is young and had a good season at Orient last year.

Pretty certain if we paid £700K for Forde he would be one of the first names on the team sheet, not just making cameo appearances from the bench.
It sounds like we got him on the cheap on deadline day, so probably paid a fee around £150K plus add ons.

I reckon we paid £243,678,69p Paid over 8 years Free crisps and a bovril at half time, and a courtesy car thrown in. UTG
