Physical cards will be available next season ( price to be determined ) but club want to encourage everyone to go digital as they cost the club money . We will continue to have every player back for corners as we’re not very good ( at this point) at defending set pieces. Players need to be given time and what players we may need in Jan we don’t know yet as it’s too early to say what we’ll need. Stadium consultations ongoing with neighbours and planning departments and club won’t rush things as they want all ducks in a row. New plans for the quarters are exciting and Taylor and a few others have seen what’s planned, will be very good for a club at our level and fit for a championship club. I’m sure others will add others things I’ve forgotten! edit: they were sorry for short notice of fans forum but there were various reasons . Hope to do lots more in future on a regular basis. Wanted all players to live locally to Bristol but would make an exception for a Messi .This part intrigues me and my interpretation is perhaps a slight dig at the last group of players, with lots based in the North West predominantly. I'd be interested to know where the players tend to live. I know the Teds are usually around Ashton/Portishead etc. but that part of Bristol (south of the river) is much less built up and quieter. I'd imagine a lot of our lads are in/around Bradley Stoke (like Sincs, Ward etc.), Almondsbury, Thornbury etc. but curious how far some will travel from. As random (and unlikely) examples, is Connor still two hours up the M5/6 in Staffordshire? Does Mola commute from Reading? Hutchinson from Brum? etc.

A lot of previous players lived away from Bristol because the cost of buying or renting a home is extremely expensive around here

Matty Taylor used to rent the house next to my mum in Emersons Green. When I lived in Emersons Green my next door neighbour was Trevor Challis.

Id argue that Luke Thomas offers next to nothing when defending a corner. Leave him up top which will occupy 2 opposition defenders. i said that to my son during the Barnsley game and 2 minutes later they took a corner , the ball was knocked down and who smacked it clear from out area - yes you have guessed it - Luke Thomas. didnt let me live that down .

Too many teds in Portishead not sure why they have switched there these days its an easy journey to the training ground. There were also a few Cardiff players as well as the guy that Portsmouth were declaring was " one of our own" - Marlon Pack. Not sure he is still living there but he was for most of last season

Slowly getting through the video..
Really interesting listening to George, very informative. Really pleased he has been appointed in this role, really suits him and what a great ambassador for our club when speak to other clubs (especially for loans from higher up).
Credit where its due, looks like a cracking appointment.

Matty Taylor used to rent the house next to my mum in Emersons Green. He also lived me in Portishead briefly (whilst at us lol). Used to see Rodman in Bradley Stoke a lot too.

Just watching the Forum event now and some good stuff going on.
Wow though aren't there some bloody moaners in the crowd .... One voice I recognised and wouldn't shut up as per normal going on about change management and how the club should apply themselves better.
So many on their own agendas moaning about tickets and having old phones and other trivia.
One woman calls for the return of Jed Ward and is quickly closed down by MT which made me smile.
Good Question on Social Media and the players looking at it which was an eye opener.

I was there and again impressed by the intelligence of the top table. Not an ounce of narcissism in evidence.
Sadly, in attendance are those from supporter groups who still have their long-gone sense of entitlement and ask the most banal questions. It's the latter that make me smile.
I waited till the end for a chat with the Manager and had a very good discussion on a couple of observations. I won't share details on individuals, but he is trying to change a style to a more aggressive, front-foot approach that he believes will resonate with our fan base. I applaud him for that. Matt has a lot of football brain cells, can communicate clearly and intelligently with all parties and has learnt in life to park his ego. For some muppets, that makes him boring. 😂😂

Actually, don’t bother; all you’ll get is abuse, like I did. I don’t bother any more.

I must of missed the new finance director or whatever his job title is joining the club. What previous clubs has he worked at as he kept mentioning it?
