It closed down for a bit - result of Covid possibly - then reopened as a Brexit pub. Changed hands again recently, I believe. Brexit Pub? Whatever that means.
It was just a normal boozer, it was ran by the same landlady who used to have The Vic before that closed down.
Full of Gas ta far right 😉

😁😁😁😁 For the love of sweet Penelope Cruz, do you not see the irony in your answer? Are you genuinely saying that there's no bigotry among the Celtic fanbase? Cough. 🏴🏴☠️ Yes, of course I could. But we're right

Careful monitoring of travel numbers will occur in the coming months. The timing and frequency of trains stopping at Ashley Down station will be adjusted to meet the level of use demonstrated. Supporters who want to use the service long term need to start using it regularly. It's a weird way to do it. Given there will not be many services at the moment, those who are on the fence might decide they can't be bothered and therefore true demand won't be seen. Here in Perth we have had a couple of new rail extensions open in the last couple of years (three stations on one, six on another). They ran as many services as they could for the first three months and only then started adjusting down to match volume to efficiency. Yes the situation is a bit different in the UK but that seems a much more logical way to determine actual demand...

Wow!, Ship o’ Ground, only closed a few years back!, my oh my. My last visit to the Ship (1979) on a match day ended with a brawl between locals and football fans. I remember in the commotion the landlord shouting ‘There is no need to throw chairs, to which somebody shouted ‘There is every need to throw chairs’….was funny at the time. Place was always frosty for a visit I recall, less than inviting, not a surprise really. I remember that! Big local news at the time and turned it into a clicky pub for those who didn't frequent there much....then into a ghost pub so no wonder it closed. A shame. Huge potential.. Yes, I don’t think the Ship was used to any real shenanigans. The ‘locals’ that day included several ‘profile’ Ci*y Skinheads that had ‘upset’ the local BS7 Rovers lads on Glos road a few weeks before…still laugh about it today, they thought the Ship was a ‘hideaway’.
