anyone that knows me knows who I mean Given he's now got three court cases to fight I sense he might be busy doing something else for the next few months. Moving on how could the owners dismiss Mangan and then replace him with MT, one was destined for Real Madrid, the other probably the dole queue. Never realised Mangan was going to manage Real Madrid.

Clueless all over the pitch. I cannot believe we did not contest the balls coming into the six yard box from the very poor corners which lead to the opening pair of goals, the second one their fella scuffed his first attempt and we stood back and let him have another go; the third and fourth goals were so bad o dear o dear not worthy have being described on a keyboard. Tick Tok, Tick Tok MMT, you probably need divine intervention to get a tune out of your match day strategies, lets hope you get some in time for our visit to the Posh.

Taylor has to be given time with HIS squad using his words to get this right. For me he has until November/December to show signs of progress or his tenure will end.
However. There are worrying signs. We are so so negative and poor as an attacking force.
He has to change tactics and formation and start to go after games. I found his after match interview alarming. To say he's told the players to change their game plan and just hit it long at the start of the second half to get the ball up the right end of the pitch to breed confidence is ridiculous.

Ironically we actually started pretty well but from 15 mins in it all went completely pear shaped. An inability to defend corners cost us twice and from then on we never looked remotely like getting back into the game. The lack of creativity is a real worry, we just cant seem to get that balance right whoever plays in there. Moores sending off made a bad day worse, not so much today as the game was gone but the next 3 games. Assume Taylor comes in but unless Hunt comes back in we really don't have a natural right back. A day to quickly forget for sure

Some people could see we were conceding way too many shots and corners and it was only a matter of time before a team punished us. The subs made no sense at half time. Take away the two corners and we’d had the lions share of possession and looked ok. He couldn’t wait to take Hutchinson off and get Sinclair on but no idea what he offered or what it changed. Sousa had done ok too. He had two forwards on bench and it was clear sotirou and Promise were all over the place and offering nothing yet they stayed on until it was too late and honestly I have no idea how LT has lasted another 90 mins. I’ve been boring the forum by constantly saying we shouldn’t be playing five at the back. I don’t like that formation generally and don’t think it will get the best out of the current squad - not just in terms of how we are defending and shipping loads of chances but also in being better set up to attack. I was told we had a really solid defence by some on here and that I was an idiot for suggesting a change (I wouldn’t change it as I’d have never used a back five in the first place 😁). I’ve never been a big fan of MT but having appointed him he deserved the chance to build his own team and be judged on that. That’s not changed and I wouldn’t advocate a change in manager now but he’s put himself under a lot of pressure with both today’s performance and that in the away games. I’m still adamant that his choice of formation is wrong but I’m not sure he is showing himself capable of getting a team well organised and set up to be hard to beat regardless of formation - is he getting enough help from his back room staff? I don’t expect much of a different result next week. No real positives I can see at the moment and just hope something will happen to change our fortunes but I’m not confident at the moment. Please prove me wrong MT. We changed to 4 at the back at half time but we're still no better, it's not the formation it's the person in charge and the personnel signed this summer. Hutch is sadly no replacement for Evo.

I've no idea what either GF or MT saw in Hutchinson as he looks a mirror image of Westbrook, OK if somebody else is doing the dirty work for him but totally useless if they aren't, Garrett also doesn't look physically up to L1 football, add to that we all know Ward is injury prone and so you do have to wonder who's supposed to be our main creative midfielder this season. Surely the same can be said of LT? Miles off it again today and completely lost as the CAM yet completed another 90 mins. If a team isn’t set up to attack or retain possession or to be adventurous in its approach then how on earth are we expecting attacking players to have an influence? Players need to be given the ball with a plan and an intention otherwise everything’s a fight for the second ball or running back to their own goal not the other way. Personally I don’t think we’re getting anything like what we should be out of Thomas or Hutchinson and for that the blame has to lie with the manager. FWIW I thought first half showed a bit of promise. Once again if someone taps it in we go a goal up and Hutchinson has another assist. He can’t be accountable for a ball going across goal knee height without a touch! At half time we had 55% possession!! Hutchinson had the highest pass completion rate in the side! Being critical I felt he could’ve been braver instead of passing to Conteh on the edge of the box and could’ve driven forwards but opted to feed Thomas…both came to nothing as did a super pass into Promise who inexplicably chose to do a dummy to no one! What MT sees in Sinclair and MT is anybody's guess, when neither seem to do a lot during a match. Well this is a mystery!! Sinclair came on and touched the ball 10 times in 45 mins and contributed 5 accurate passes!! No idea based on the games so far what MT thought he’d contribute today. Your obsession with Hutchinson is strange, even MT thinks he's poor hence why he subbed him off at half time. Not sure one decent free kick makes his first performance satisfactory.

Your obsession with LT is equally strange. Not sure one decent corner makes his performances satisfactory either? I made some general comments about the game overall and you’ve singled out one thing. I personally don’t think how we’re playing is helping him….i also said it wasn’t helping Thomas. I was being objective but that’s seemingly wasted on you. I also said I thought Sousa had done well yet he was taken off at ht also and it was perfectly ok for people to comment on that without you arguing the case against based on MT taking him off and I also said I felt a manager making subs at half time like that was a poor sign of desperation rather than anything else. Personally I don’t think Hutchinson deserves some of the criticism he’s had so far and the memory of Evans hasnt helped him. I’d like to know how Evans would’ve done in this side under Taylor….seeing as he only managed 3 goals in his last 24 games under Taylor one of which was a free kick. Maybe Taylor is part of the same problem?

Is it nearly taxi time for Taylor? No I don't think so. Give the man a chance. What is the point 5 games. Definitely give him another 5 league games. Need to have 16-20 points on the board.

Bit optimistic!! That’s 9 to 13 points from 5 games, when we have 7 from 6 No need for toys out yet, plenty of odd results still in League One, teams still finding their feet. He will, however, need to start showing more than today, hopefully just a bad day at the office. UTG

Last one to leave, put the cat out, turn the lights off and lock up

I wasn’t that enthusiastic about his appointment and both results and performances whilst he managed the second half of last season (largely with someone else’s team) concerned me. However, he’s got the job and been allowed to spend a lot of money so needs to be given a bit of time. I’m still worried about how this season will pan out and have a bit of a bad feeling tbh.

Hutch is sadly no replacement for Evo. I didn’t expect a panicked halftime switch to four at the back to be a miracle cure when the opposition already have a two goal advantage. If it was being worked on in training day in day out I’m sure it would give better results - both in terms of defensive shape and help us set up better to be more effective in attack. Whether MT is the right man to get the best out these players (his players) regardless of whether it’s a back five or back four remains to be seen.
