Never saw anything at the time and looking on the highlights (sic), I don't think he did much wrong.
There was no aggressive movement of his head and was half of one etc, with the Wigan player going down in installments (possible action against him, with ungentlemanly conduct?) so I would have thought a good chance of getting rescinded.

Have to disagree, definitely a red. Threw his head at him in a headbutt motion. Not sure on any contact but you can't threaten a headbutt either way. I'd be amazed if they even appeal, let alone get it overturned.
Stupid thing to do over a throw in, at 4 nil down and with only a few mins left from someone who is one of our more senior players.

Disagree with o p.
You can't put yourself in a situation where the officials can take action.
Understand overheat situation, but silly boy that might cost us more than just games not played. Which is bad enough.

I stand on the East, just behind the away bench. Moore did make a small movement towards the Wigan player, but hardly any contact. However, I accept the red card. The Wigan player though might reflect on his own actions. Why dispute a throwin when you are leading 4 nil in the dying moments? And he kicked the ball away. I would not want to see a Rovers' player behave similarly.

Totally ridiculous thing to do at anytime and the play acting after from the Wigan player was pathetic as well. Sadly it's become part of the game now and all players/clubs do it including ours.

Agree with you completely - except for the word "threw". It was not that violent an action.

Small issue but Wigan player should have been booked for throwing ball away.

Unfortunately, regardless of the simulation by the Wigan player, this Red card will stand and be deemed 'violent conduct' so a mandatory three match suspension.
I did not see the incident as I was following the ball, and I suspect the referee did not see it either. However, it was close to the Wigan bench, the majority of which demonstrated their recriminations of the ignored offence from their own player. Clearly both opposition player and management team were seeking to have Taylor-Moore sent off. A decision probably given on the fourth official's say so.
At the time, fans around me were adamant that their player had a hand around Taylor-Moore's throat - so should have been Red card for both offences.
It did not change the result, just further compounded the misery of an awful day at the Mem. Taylor-Moore has been an excellent signing thus far, but this will now give Connor Taylor an opportunity of starting at Peterborough, something which his own cameo performance sadly did not reinforce.

Moore's obviously got disciplinary issues or he wouldn't have been sacked by his former club, at 4-0 down and the game completely dead you do have to wonder why anybody would attempt to nut an opposing player right particularly in front of the opposing bench and ref.

Players should know by now that you cannot do any action which allows the pathetic standard of referees to make a decision. Stupid action by an experienced player who should know better and therefore deserves a three match suspension..

Small issue but Wigan player should have been booked for throwing ball away. When was the last time you saw a card for that? Another thing that's gone by the by. Like foul throw ins, of which there was 2 yesterday.

Slight movement of head towards the Wigan player. Guess that's enough to get you a red card now. The ref seems almost apologetic in sending him off.

Ridiculous thing to say. I guess you feel proud of yourself for yet another (unwarranted and unjustified) derogatory statement against one of our own players.

It's hard to see clearly with the camera focus so far away but he doesn't really look like he goes to use his head, more of a full body movement like your trying to make someone jump. Old enough to not be doing silly things like that either way What an absolute tool that wigan player is though. Takes 2/3 seconds looks at the ref then decides to hit the deck, knob head

Regardless of what happened to Moore cheats and experts in “dark arts” as everyone likes to glamorise them as need stamping out - retrospective bans for diving and feigning injury will stop things quickly and send a message to grass roots and youth football that this type of behaviour is just wrong. At the moment the authorities and match officials are basically rewarding the S Housery.

I assume you know what happened at his previous club then ? Grateful if you could post the details as I haven't seen it reported
