1-0 down 3-1 up Mattโs just shut the moaners up. Absolutely pig sick of all the negativity on here and social media, at half time even!!! 6 massive points this week, our budget is nowhere near enough to challenge the top 6, yet we are one win from the play offs. Itโs surely time for all of us to get behind Taylor now. Itโs time for us real fans to start challenging all the negativity from the Joey fan club. Roadman and G1981 were never members of that group so why bring that up, pretty sure they suggested JB should have never signed "sick notes" like Hunt and Wilson. Great win, so pleased for the manager and travelling fans. Get up out of your bedroom Topper, have a shower and shave and go for a walk๐

6 goals in a week, I can't wait for Pirate to post the stats later or does he only do that when we lose? Wasn't a good performance, but we got the result and that is all that matters at the end of the day. Dreadful first half, really awful, but better second half helped by a woeful and naive Burton side. As with Tuesday, we got the win with what I consider a poor performance, but will have to do much much better against teams that aren't relegation fodder like dreadful Burton. Pleased with the win, performance must improve. The game reminded me of playing football at school, "next goal wins" stuff! We didn't really have much control during the game, but we did have plenty spirit and players that can hurt an opponent. They couldn't handle Odonka's physicality and Fordes directness. Taylor was brave with his substitutions and we got the reward.

Dreadful first half and thankfully improved for the second, but far from impressive, yes we won and that at the end of the day is what matters. Jury still out on MT .. to be continued UTFG

Taylor was brave with his substitutions and we got the reward. A manager deserves credit when subs work, likewise they deserve criticism when it goes pear shaped. Iโd disagree that his subs were brave though - more desperation as he had to do something to change things when we were one down v one of the divisions worst teams. A pretty poor first half from us, better second half but perhaps more importantly showing a bit of fight and character. UTG.

I thought I might look on the bright side of life. We took a 3-0 lead vs Charlton and we were all super pleased with that. We start with the same team as we began that game. Burton are third from bottom. This team will know that we can win this game. It seems a 3-0 victory is certainly worth thinking about. Looking forward to this one so we can build the hope for something better. Building the hope for something better, for sure. Steady progress, six points in last two games and some are encouraging a bus. The bus is always waiting to make an appearance. ๐๐

Pleased with the win, performance must improve. Matt Taylor says more or less the same in his post match interview. Seems to hint he knows these last two results have saved his job. Interesting that he suggests he recognises he has to keep it very simple in terms of tactics for this squad. Basically play on the front foot and run.

I thought this at half time, so it is not hindsight, but it appears a good chunk of our fanbase need to calm down a bit. Sadly some seem to have turned in to entitled idiots more akin to our neighbours. We have been pretty rubbish for most of the 45 years I have been following the Gas. Right now in the scheme of things, things are not so bad. Meanwhile I shall enjoy the win! Quite agree my Devonian friend!! UTG

Apparently this is our =2nd best points haul from the opening 10 games since our return to the leagues after the conference season (10 attempts?). Just Coughlan getting more.
Not playing great but guess it could be worse, and has been haha ๐

Are we destined for every matchday thread to reduce into a Manager in/out debate?
The truth at this time us that our manager is Dam sh**. That doesn't mean I want him gone. We've beat the hopeless team at the foot of the table but it needn't turn into an in/out. Moreso it's important to analyse the performance and how we dealt with the opposition tactics etc.
