Where does this leave us ?. Is it a case the new owners have accessed the accounts and want to streamline ( a bit like political parties evaluating the mess the previous regime left and they all do it from all sides) or is it out with the old and in with the new and major investments coming ?.

So all we know is he’s “going on a farewell tour” and has “cleared the boardroom of his momentos”
We aren’t being told if he’s actually selling up? And if so to whom?
Or if he’s merely taking a step back from his VP role.
What does this actually mean?

Or if he’s merely taking a step back from his VP role. What does this actually mean? God knows. As long as I've still got a Club to go watch every other Saturday I really couldn't care less as to what goes on in the Boardroom.

You were obviously privy to information that he’s planning on going or are you claiming you just guessed and now it looks like it’s happening? How can that be true when he makes it all up? Dunno , I never said he makes it all up did I ? Just saying Roady obvs got wind that Wael was going .

No idea, I’m not a liar, it’s just a hunch and from a couple of snippets in the game. But, Gorringe fired (Wael man), no more photos with owners, away end at Burton and pre game promoting on social media, taking all stuff now from the boardroom and ground. Let’s see, perhaps I am wrong but yesterday happened, he cleared his stuff out.

Not ITK btw 😁

It's hardly surprising is it? From the moment he sold 60% or whatever to the new mob, his days were clearly coming to an end.
It would be more surprising if he'd stayed on, forever, like a shadowy ghostly figure wailing in the corridors of power.

Sells to some investors who can put in significant amounts to get this football club moving. The new majority owners worry me with how quiet they are.

He’d sell it to anyone who gave him the cash he wants to get out. Just like any owner in the EFL who’s looking to stop losing millions every year and I can’t say I’d blame him

Remember when he took over and we had some very impressive Directors join us including one who had been responsible for building the new Wembley. No of 'em lasted five minutes and left 'For personal reasons'.

To pick up an underperforming, stale football club. Invest a little bit of money to improve it a bit, as there's some really low hanging fruit here. Then sell it on after enjoying a few years as a cheap British business owner. For a wealthy foreigner, losing a few million over 5 years is nothing. Doubt he's lost any sleep.

I doubt any of the owners thought they'd lose £m's? The latest owners are probably the most baffling, as it was pretty clear when they bought the club that it was losing £m's each season and no easy plan to put a stop to the losses or even reduce them to a manageable level.

Was Wael really that wealthy to just write off £20m or so wehn before he bought Rovers he was just working for his families banking business, just imagine what he could have bought for £20m in Monte Carlo etc with the money and still own it today.

Has he actually lost any money at all? It depends on what the new guys will have done or will do when they bought 60% of the club and what they'll do with Wael's remaining 40% or so. If he leaves of course.
