Weston away if they get through the replay. Nice chance to see the donkeys. Oi!! No way to talk about our players….. My brother is fixture secretary at Weston, they have got off to a good start this season and have the infrastructure in place to look for promotion to the National League. Crowds are on the rise, would be good for me if they pulled gas out the magic bag of balls, but knowing us we will get Crewe away and lose 1-0 UTG I’ve noticed that Weston are doing well . What sort of crowds are they getting and have they got a decent budget for that league?

Great little club WSM. Attendances are usually around 1k.
I often go down there to catch a game as it's about 5 miles from where I live and a nice little ground. You'll find a mix of city and rovers fans go in between games or if they don't follow their clubs away.
Also a few good memories from when I played football and had a few games at the Woodspring. Great little ground.

An away game live on telly similar to Totten.
A big win would be a confidence booster. A defeat and I suspect the MT out brigade will get their wish.
Whatever happens that would generate so e income to offset the lack of replay money.
Chances are it will be Rochdale or a Peterborough type away game!

Doesn’t he own a load of care homes locally ? Not sure Weston could ever become a football league club but it would certainly add a bit of spice having an extra club to despise as they go above us in the pyramid! 😂

Selfishly, Guiseley, York (although I really dislike their new ground) or Scarborough away would be great!

Love the FA cup, hopefully we can have a decent little run. I’m thinking we will end up with Bromley.

Did I hear right that Brislington are in the final qualifying round this Monday night ? Sadly, Brislington were out of the FA Cup before we even kicked a ball in anger. Lost to Wallingford & Crowmarsh on the 3rd August It's the Brislington U18 team you heard tell of - on Monday evening they play Camberley Town at home in the final qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup. They are hoping to make history by reaching the 1st Round Proper of that competition for the first time.

Did someone suggest a Home tie?
If it is a HOME tie The Memorial Stadium pitch will be well used in the near future.
We play Shrewsbury Town at Home on Tuesday the 22nd of October 2024.
We also play Exeter City at Home in a dead rubber encounter in the FLT.
The match at Reading is the only fixture on the road in a run of 6 games if we are at Home in the FA Cup.
We also play Lincoln City and Crawley Town at The Mem in early November.
It would be fantastic if The Home of Bristol football becomes a formidable fortress in October and November.

I say it every season, away trip to the sort of non league ground where they serve you tea in an actual mug would be the dream.
Although it’ll be Peterborough away.

Good to see the Gas Girls won their FA Cup game.
Let's hope they progress to get a glamour tie.

Would love a couple of thumpings followed by a nice third round prem side!
Still haunts me we sh** the bed in the second half of that game to decide who faced Liverpool at anfield.
