Great little club WSM. Attendances are usually around 1k. I often go down there to catch a game as it's about 5 miles from where I live and a nice little ground. You'll find a mix of city and rovers fans go in between games or if they don't follow their clubs away. Also a few good memories from when I played football and had a few games at the Woodspring. Great little ground. Yeah I played there a few times in the past. I remember hearing someone say a few yrs ago that their chairman thought he could make Weston a football league club. Doesn’t he own a load of care homes locally ? Not sure Weston could ever become a football league club but it would certainly add a bit of spice having an extra club to despise as they go above us in the pyramid! 😂 With the right investment I could see it. Weren't they building a new stand there or at least putting in planning for it? WSM is a growing town with housing and infrastructure taking over the runway as well as Locking Parklands. There is certainly scope to get more people through the turnstiles and with a run into the conference they could make something of it. FGR got to the FL on the back of attendances of between 1200-2000 and are effectively a similar sized club. They just need a Dale Vince sort of person.

A quick google says they had plans (2021) to double capacity to 5k .

Best result for me would be Chesham or Horsham away with game played on Saturday as I am at Tottenham v Aston Villa on the Sunday so could do a weekender and get a new ground in as well. At a push I'd accept P'Boro Sports or Brackley (both subject to replays), also Curzon Ashton would make for a long trek but is one of the other tier 6 grounds i've not been to. #upforthecup

Bloody hell that’s awesome. It would be nice if we could actually pack out the Mem for that one, just for the occasion. Shame it’s not away

This means:
AFTER this weekend.
5 out of our next 6 fixtures are at HOME.
Only AWAY match is at Reading.
Time to show good form and solid support.

Mind you, we’ve lost a couple of times at home to lower league teams in the fa cup I think?

Great tie for everyone. Not far for them to travel.
Could be a decent crowd if the dark side are away that weekend.

Absolutely buzzing with this!!! My two clubs 💙 Me too Pirate! Grew up on Bleadon Hill and travelled every home game to Twerton. My brother is now fixture secretary, he’s well happy with the draw!! Great local fixture, but they will be no mugs. Can’t wait!!
