Agreed. As the South stand is a no go area for Rovers fans, segregation wouldn`t appear to be an issue. Is it really that much more of a problem, if WSM have just over 2,000 tickets, rather than just under? Apparently the turnstiles at the away end can't cope with anymore fans, if the stand was designed on that basis then there's not much the club do about it now. Topper . They can definitely accomadate 1600 away fans in the South stand . I was there v Cardiff and they had over two sections . The test case worked well and there was no trouble .

Griffiths Hunt Wilson Taylor Mola Conteh Lyndsey Thomas Hutchinson Sinclair Martin
Wouldnt be against Bilongo up top for some of it!

If that's true, it's an astonishingly dreadful piece of planning. It's like building a motorway with no slip roads to get on it. Surely they could add a couple more turnstiles???

MT had a chance to play BB upfront on Tuesday and choose not to, so unless we're desperate for a goal let on I can't see that being an option. Didn't Dan Hargreaves also suggest that PC's injury wasn't anything major?

Personally I wouldn’t start with Martin, after watching them recently I’d say their centre backs aren’t the quickest, bring him on second half Can Shaq play or suspended? Not a great deal of choice up top, let’s hope PO is fit, reckon he would relish this game UTG

Griffiths Hunt, Moore, Wilson, Mola Conteh Sinclair, Ward, Hutchinson Martin, Sotiriou Slight change of formation. I'd play Ward further forward as I'd like to think one DM would be enough against Weston. That would allow us to play 2 up front. I was torn between Taylor and Taylor-Moore. Went with the latter because of 2 or 3 really poor errors from Taylor in the last couple of games. Cost us a goal on Tuesday, and was very lucky not to cost us a goal at Reading. I was also torn between Lindsay and Ward. Went with Ward because Lindsay played on Tuesday. I put Hutchinson on the left because he seems to have performed better when playing there. If Martin isn't fit enough to start again so soon, bring in Thomas and move Sinclair up front. I'm assuming Omochere won't be risked, even though his injury isn't serious. Could be on the bench I guess.

Why are people so convinced it’s basically Teds in the away end ? Very derogatory to Weston fans, a good club for the level they’re at who average crowds that could fill the away end themselves.
I see they made it very difficult to get tickets unless a match goer or ST holder , fail to see how there’s city fans in there tbh especially when they have a game themselves?!
See this as a real banana skin myself, they are on fire

They’ve been getting a solid 1,000 odd a game , naturally fans there willl have mates / family coming along too as it’s the biggest day in their modern history. People really think there’s gonna be 800 odd city fans !!!!!

There’ll be a few teds but not as many as people are making our.

I go and watch Weston now and again and was there vs Aveley on Saturday and even though the standard of football wasn’t the best Weston are good going forward and do like a cross from the right all 3 of there 2nd half goals came from crosses from Luke Coulson (all 4 assists). If our back 4 ain’t up to it could go tits ups seeing our history of defending from corners and crosses ain’t been the best. We should have the manpower and professional ability to beat Weston but if we don’t it must spell the end for Taylor

The south stand holds 3,500, we’re told. Why can’t they have all of it, or at least another section? Agreed. As the South stand is a no go area for Rovers fans, segregation wouldn`t appear to be an issue. Is it really that much more of a problem, if WSM have just over 2,000 tickets, rather than just under? How do you keep the away fans away from the West terrace?

Any hint of city at the ground will see the OB in close proximity. The way fans get policed nowadays means youd be a complete muppet to try it on in the stadium at this game. A few stewards, a couple of OB, it'll just be the usual hand gestures. This home should be open ground anyway? It's WSM.

How do you keep the away fans away from the West terrace? Stewards? Where would you put those stewards? Remember, there is an opening to the South Stand that opens out directly to the home fans in the West Stand.

If you are talking about the concourse then it has gates under it to stop this Yes, I was talking about the concourse. Does it have gates at both ends? I thought there was only one gate but maybe they have put another in since I've been in that section. If there still is only one gate, then fans from the seated area could use the exits to come out of the concourse beyond that gate. I'm not sure if they can close off the exits to the concourse on health and safety grounds.

Fans come out for big games. Don’t think they’ll be any trouble and the Ted element is being overhyped as it always is in these sort of situations.
