Interesting fact . Taylor record pld 13 points 16 is exactly the same as Bartons (who was sacked ) at this point last season. Barton had a better GD.
For the record I wouldn't sack a manager on that basis other than things we don't know.

Opinion clouded after we had a go last 15 against a team who just sat back. Letâs not the majority of game where we offered barely anything. And what did Reading offer ? It was a fairly even game,we were never really troubled.

They didn't just sit back, they were absolutely hanging on! They didn't really have an answer, that was definitely us having a go rather than them sitting back. We had 10 players as well. That's a very harsh opinion. Yeah it was an outstanding effort today from start to finish, Taylor has these players fired up and giving 100% and he and his squad deserve much more praise than theyâve been getting from our support this season. Weâre not perfect far from it but itâs hard to question the commitment and desire.

Superb last half hour, bloody brilliant effort from the 10. Forde wonât do that again. Lost voice in away end. The ovation at the end testament to the effort & skill produced in the last 30. Voice lost, stuck in car park now đ

Agree, we looked better when we weren't reliant on the long ball to Promise. On a side note, can we hire Lee Brown as a 'dark arts' coach. He regularly remarked that we were too naive in that game. Thatâs 100% something we could do with adding to our game! Lots of young players who need to learn some of the dark arts!

Felt like a really important performance, regardless of the result.
Appreciation shown by the fans at the end.

Brilliant end to a game we ultimately lost due to poor officials and a selfish twat of a player.
We need to look at playing bilongo as a centre forward all the time the bloke was immense today

I thought they were crap tbh, we throughly deserved a point itâs a shame but I could see something today for the first time in ages, fight and commitment. Green shoots for me, canât wait for Chris Martin to be back and get us on song again. I strangely enjoyed that for a change, we will be fine.

What would concern me as an owner is how 10 players can play far better than 11 players!

If we were playing like this all season he would indeed get the plaudits from the fans that this performance deserved, today we were excellent and deserved at least a point, no cutting edge though Again!

My negative on today is rotating the two older injury prone CDMâs Lindsay and Ward next to another CDM Conteh.
We only got to see the best of Hutch because it was forced on him, weâve got a handbrake manager, he protects the defence first over attack.

Gutted to lose, Forde stupidly cost us dearly, but canât fault the effort the lads put in today, Reading were hanging on in the last 15 minutes against 10 men & only the brilliance of their keeper kept us from getting a deserved point. Today showed we got a decent squad of players who will only get better, time to forget about Barton & Holloway, theyâre not coming back & start backing Taylor who given time will I believe start to deliver the results we all hoping for.

Really unlucky not to get something out of the game today , a really positive performance. What a complete knobber Forde was with two stupid bookings . As Taylor said before the game , the dressing room is positive itâs just everywhere else that isnât. Think itâs time we got behind this manager and these players.

Lets lay of Shaq. Silly mistake but I bet he feels gutted about letting his team mates down.
Has not played much important football before so hopefully it will be a huge learning curve.
Not sure what line up we will have v WSM up front? Hopefully Promise will start as it could be a good confidence booster if he gets a goal.
Like others have said maybe use Bryant up front in the effective practice match v Exeter on Tuesday.

Reading celebrating like they've just won the cup. The 10 left on the pitch, take a bow. And the prick in the changing room should come out and publicly apologise and the club announce heâs been fined. 1600 fans went and gave up their time and money to support us, if only that idiot cared like them, petulant prick. The two yellows were silly I agree but not sure it deserves this level of reaction.

All of this crap is hypothetical. I know Forde gave it on a plate to that idiot referee, but if the useless a**ehole had given him the free kick, he would not have kicked the ball away. However Forde needs to be dealt with accordingly by the manager.

You do have to question why it took a sending off to motivate the players, why can't Taylor motivate the players to play like they did with 10 men when there's 11 men on the pitch. It's madness with 10 men we were totally on top but with 11 men Reading looked the better team.

I never ever believed the reason behind is sacking was ' we are not in the top 8 ' therefore he's failing based on budget spending . We all know we are a bottom 10 club . The bookies pundits and D. Clark said so. And nobody is complaining today our overall record shows NO improvement than a year ago. Fans are processing the facts and knowing mid table is ok . We don't need the hieracrchy to raise expectations again about play offs etc.
