Posh, Udders and today, easy to make a fight of it losing and Burton the same as well. Handbrake manager sets us up to not concede and try and nick a goal or be in the game 0-0 to 70th minute.
Starts with two CDM’s every week, he had Evans last season who could break the lines like Chris Lines.
They battled again today whilst losing, we are huff and puff stuff, he won’t trust someone like Conteh or Ward to do the Declan Rice role. He blocks us up to protect the defence, proper handbrake manager but because we were unlucky today, because we tried, it all goes on, until he takes it off, we will never push for 6th place.

All of this crap is hypothetical. I know Forde gave it on a plate to that idiot referee, but if the useless a**ehole had given him the free kick, he would not have kicked the ball away. However Forde needs to be dealt with accordingly by the manager. The ref was poor but Forde wasnt fouled before kicking the ball away. The free kick they were given was harsh though hence his frustration.

And the prick in the changing room should come out and publicly apologise and the club announce he’s been fined. 1600 fans went and gave up their time and money to support us, if only that idiot cared like them, petulant prick. The two yellows were silly I agree but not sure it deserves this level of reaction. A young player has made a silly mistake, hopefully he'll learn from it, as Moore seems to have done after his silly red. Oddly the red seems to have motivated players and I doubt we'd have seen that type of performance with 11 men on the pitch.

Calling it wrong today Roadie , we played well and we were unlucky. We didn’t just set up not to lose as we created some great chances throughout the game and were positive when we could be against a decent side away from home. Miles & miles better than Huddersfield last week. Not to admit that is just churlish in my book .

The same as the challenge on Bilongo should have been red. And the guy who almost kicked Bilongo in the head should have gotten a yellow. The ref was a massive idiot who will ruin somebody else's game next week. That really should not be allowed.

The players put in a very good shift today and we matched Reading. A draw would have been a fair result. If felt like we turned a corner today and Rovers put in a performance we expect of them. If this can be repeated every game the calls for MTs sacking would disappear. Forde was silly and will learn from that but I do like his quality and endeavour and am looking forward to seeing more from him. Lindsay did well when he came on and really helped the midfield tick.

Am sure some will say keep the handbrake on till the front four are functioning well. Conteh is interesting in that he appears to have the ability to break lines with his running. That may happen more in the future.

That why his sending off was so frustrating, he looked our best player out there.

I thought we showed enough with 10 men to show Reading were susceptible at the back and Sotiriou showed this first half. If we had a manager who believed in his squad, believed in himself, we’d have won that from the first whistle. You tell me why he keeps insisting on playing 2 CDM’s and also rotating Ward and Lindsay? Hutchinson, McCormick, anyone central who needs space and a licence to roam will never ever start in this side regularly. All season, 5 at the back and 2 CDM’s, when we go 4 at the back he plays CB’s at full back, look at today. We are set up with either 6 or 7 defensive minded players every game over attack. The wingers are inverted and told to come in narrow and also defend. When do you see a winger hug the byline and is told to stay there? Another cover up the cracks today, we played well, Reading did the classic bottle against 10 men mindset. We are going to be this all season unless MT let’s off the handbrake.

The keeper Griffthis has the most saves in 90 mins of any keeper in the league. The stats don’t lie, our keeper is the busiest in LEAGUE ONE, we are set up to defend, the stats don’t lie?!

If we had played the professional card and gone and stayed down the two times they went in with a high boot we might have equallled up the sides. Regardless our performance after the red was a credit and Reading were panicking and glad to hear the final whistle. Play like that again and we will win more than lose

Miles better!
We more than matched a good Reading side, and were very unlucky not to come away with at least a point.
First 40 minutes was an entertaining, fairly even encounter. Both sides creating opportunities, maybe the best falling to Sotiriou. Lost our way for a few minutes after the Omochere injury, but survived a poor mistake by Taylor to go in level at the break.
Looked okay in the second half, until the needless sending off. Reading then had their best spell of the game, and unfortunately got the goal, but we had them pinned back for the last 20 minutes, and came close to equalizsing on 3 or 4 occasions.
That's much more like it. If we can reproduce that sort of performance more consistently, we'll do okay.
That performance has given me more hope than any of our wins this season.

Ward has dodgy knees and Lindsay is getting on . So don’t play the full backs high, or play the full backs and still attack. And I don’t agree they play high, neither over loaded loaded today. But here is another one for you, you personally, if we keep playing them high as you say, if our keeper is the busiest in the league, if we have the 5th worst defence in the league, why doesn’t he try and set up to not be so defensive, not invite pressure and utilise the attacking squad? And the best of it, if Ward has dodgy knees and Linday is getting on, why doesn’t use younger legs? Campbell next to Disley, the latter got forward. Andy Reece next Ollie, the later drove us on. You look at the Barton side that beat inform Port Vale away 1-3, Coutts sat in front of a four man defence. Harry Anderson down the right, we went outside more often, not into traffic. Finley driving us on, Evans free role (Hutchinson), Anderson left and Collins on own upfront. Look at us, Ward, Lindsay and Conteh (occasions breaks the lines). Ward doesn’t do it anymore, Lindsay can’t, none of these three drove us on, the wingers are inverted, we are set up to defend and it’s why Griffthis is the busiest keeper in the league, I don’t make up the stats!
