Why are those Barton muppets continuing to undermine Taylor who is trying his best to improve the standards Admit some of the signings are beginning to look embarrassing and not league one standard I disagree, I think we have made some very good signings bar Sotoriou who has been a stand out disappointing signing. More to come from this squad of players imo whether that be under Taylor or another manager though I'm not quite sure.

We just about bossed the first half, WSM bossed the second half. Extra time was nervy, especially when the ball went anywhere near Connor Taylor...a few of us were commenting that CT never seemed to win any headers and then, 2-1 😁
We then decided the same logic might work for the two Lukes, so said they were sh**e expecting goals from them both. Yeah OK.
Anyway, Mr T will be happy. Hope we're better against Lincoln...
UTFG and all that 🏴☠️

We all would like the team to be better than they currently are. But I was disappointed to the chants of 'We want Taylor out" at the end of normal time. Ask yourself how you would feel if you were stood on the touchline in the same position. OK, he is having a tough time, but give the guy till the middle of the season to see if he can mould something out of this bunch of misfits. I wouldn't want his job for anything.Yes, most of his team are his players but we all know how some pro footballers can control when a boss can be sacked. Let's give the guy a chance. I really felt for him today.

We have just beaten a team 4 leagues below us, but has taken extra time. It isn't good enough. Taylor in no way is improving standards.

So if you were at the match ? at the end of 90 minutes the crowd were shouting "this is embarrassing" and "Taylor out"; which I guess you would like to ignore, nothing to see here, hahaha, the facts, Weston played very well, and could of won the game in normal time, that said, their legs went during extra time, and the Gas ran out winners. Stick your head back in the sand if you like, however the majority of Gas who attended the match today, want to see and deserve to see better. UTG I was on the Thatchers and there was two small pockets of fans trying to start the chant of Taylor out. They also tried to start there's only one JB. I also heard plenty of fans around me telling them till shut the F up (including me). I wonder if you were one of those small pockets trying to sing that rubbish? Why do you consider your opinion superior to someone else's?

Just watched that Griffiths save on the highlights, I thought it was good at the time but seeing it now think he's just kept in the cup. That was some save from Reid towards the end of normal time, if that had gone in I don't think we would of had time to pull it back.

But I felt sad and embarrassed today by our chants towards him which were audible on the tv. Now some might say hang on Roadman, you are hounding him out on here but let’s face it, this is a tiny element of the fan base on here and I doubt he reads it. If I was at the game, at 1-1 I would not have done this, I can’t say if we lose Saturday badly I won’t, but never in the game and only after it has finished.

Then we can give him January to waste more money and wait until Easter to see where we are. At least Buckle tried to play attacking football.

To then start singing “sheetheads, what’s the score?” After we made it 2-1 in Extra Time….against WSM. Embarrassing. I think that was towards a guy in box 1 who must have done something when we scored our second as he got a lot of grief. When they equalised, he was gesturing to the Thatchers end that was unbecoming of someone in the hospitality area. I think the Rozzers went and had a word with him. Maybe pointed out that the only way out was through the fanzone. Also, there were plenty of sh'eds in the away end.

MT “the game went a bit open play which suited them” I just have no words for this. “We have a young, inexperienced side” … another truly bizarre hot take. I thought this, the keeper has played for England U21, 23 games for Pompey in front of massive gates. 10 games for WBA, over 60 for Chelts and Lincoln combined…….Hunt, no need to go there. Taylor promotion with us and in front of Stoke fans. Moore, massive experience as Mola. Lindsay, no need to go there nor with Sinclair and Martin. Conteh 50 league games, 9 internationally for Sierra Leone. Hutch Walsall player of the year with nearly 25 combined goals and assists last season. I will give him Billongo, Raúl 153 appearances at Orient. Basically, utter bullshit against a part time side.

What was Grant Ward’s celebration about? Cupped his ears towards the Thatchers End did he not?

Whatever Taylor said will be taken out of context by the people who have made their mind up they don't want him as manager. He said we had a young team out at the end of the game and was proud of them. Forbes, Billongo, Griffiths, Taylor,Conteh are all young. 25 shots on goal today. Other league 1 clubs going out to non league sides. Of course we want to play better but let's have some sense of fairness, we fully deserved to win and got the job done. The over reaction by some posters is ridiculous. Have a good evening and enjoy the win. On to round 2.UTG
