Handbrake again, 2 CDM’s sat in front the back four against plumbers and insurance brokers.
Keep protecting the defence Matt instead of attacking, looking to nick a goal again, us just up on possession but no one breaking the lines of the 2 CDM’s.
Difference with Barton was he used to Coutts in quarterback role in front of defence and Finley pressed, drove forward and broke lines on occasions. Add in Evans as well, I was anti Barton but he was more front foot than Matty Handbrake

Couldn’t make it back in time for todays game as I’ve just come back from Amsterdam ( it was great ) so I was gutted , listening to what we’ve dishes up so far though , I’m glad I didn’t make it 😂

Conteh, sitoriou and Lyndsey jogging about like it’s a pre season friendly. Conteh and Lindsay look like this because the manager instructs them to sit in front of the defence and not break the lines. As for everyone hammering Sitoriou, I can’t hammer any striker with this service and set up. I hold my hopes on Rickie Lambert, Collins etc starting slow and Evans. The lad got goals in Div1 last season, it’s another player, playing for a manager who hasn’t improved anyone |
