I’m not doubting in any way that what you are saying is incorrect but how can MT carry on working on a day to day basis if he is being undermined so blatantly, not only by the owners but also by the DoF. This is a disgusting situation - I will PM you. I've been hugely critical of MT but when you hear more and more of the environment that he is having to work in, i'm amazed that he hasn't walked Agreed, it would be good if we could all get behind him (and the players) some more.

He will just sit tight and knowing what is coming and will wait for the sack and get his payoff.

Sooner the whole truth comes out and they sell up, to find us owners who will be in it for the right intentions the better
Then when all is out in the open- I hope those who ridicule and doubt the people who have said it all, can hold their hands up and say thanks.
All we want is the kuwaits out and our club to be in good hands
Surely nothing wrong with that??

Daddy buys Club for Son to play with. Son thinks it FIFA 2024. Son ruins everything. Daddy sells everything to property developers. Rovers are no more. The end. We’ve seen the first part of that before.

I've have been told, from 2 very good sources:: Post Huddersfield, Hussain wanted to sack Taylor and Abdul and George Friend met with Gary Rowett. After interviewing him, they asked him to be our manager and would he accept terms not using his agent (Wasserman). Rowett said no, the agent must be used so they made him an offer via Wasserman which was derisory and he turned it down. Wasserman then informed the club that Matt Taylor is also under their instruction and they also have a duty of care towards him and have to inform him that his current employment may be terminated. They also informed all Wasserman first team players that they may have a change of manager shortly hence them all asking MT what was going on at training the next day. I have also had it confirmed that another L1 club who is currently looking for another manager interviewed Gareth Ainsworth and he told them that he was also under consideration at....Bristol Rovers. How disrespectful can you be to your current manager, 2 prospective managers and the biggest agency in football all in one go. I've got no issues in sounding out a manager, eg, make a phone call to see if it's something they would be interested in, but to offer a job when your current manager is in situ and being dumb enough to think that Wasserman wouldn't say anything is just incompetence of the highest order. So when I say that Abdul is completely illiterate at being a CEO and needs help, this highlights exactly why. It would also help if we paid a few bills, it might stop us being reported to the EFL for non payment of transfer fees too. I sincerely hope this isn’t true. But with how specific it is, very much likely to be. Worrying times

I will reach out to one of them today and see what I can get

Most of that is true from 81. I knew this last week or some form of it, it’s common knowledge in the game. I’m glad it’s someone else now leaking this, loads more to come out, a club tried to get a transfer embargo on us last week, unpaid transfer fees. Ask anyone in the game to go on the FA transfer portal, it’s all on there. Did they only pinkie Promise to pay for a player by any chance?

Who is the other club? If they have a duty of care, surely they were named as well. I do. I get to meet and connect with some interesting people.

I take it East Stand plans won't be released yet then. Or maybe they will, to show they are in control.

I've been hugely critical of MT but when you hear more and more of the environment that he is having to work in, i'm amazed that he hasn't walked He nearly did a few weeks ago... As one player said to me the other week, he's one of the most decent and honourable people he's ever met in the game and that's probably why he's still here. Plus he won't get any severance if he walks. It's a shame he hasn't been treated with the same respect and decorum, but sadly it's the Kuwaiti way. If anyone has ever spent any time in Kuwait and with Kuwait people (I have and was there for 2 days last week), they have a certain way about them, which they can be very pleasant but if anyone who is under them in terms of the class system or financially they can be treated as an underling and disposed of without much thought. So it doesn't entirely surprise me they are doing/have done what they are.

Gareth Ainsworth - that'll have you all clamouring for Matt Taylor. Isn't that the plan, as Ainsworth has to be the worst possible choice out of the ex Championship managers?

Good grief.
Apologies for starting this thread to one and all. It was just something that was mentioned to one of our group on Saturday and it seemed so far fetched and to be honest, still does to me.
Hopefully those that have posted rumour as fact on subsequent posts to the original are happy they KNOW the truth.
As for Kuwait. Hellhole. The folk my mob worked with were like any other group of people worldwide...genuine, hospitable and keen to learn. Their "leaders" however were vile and had a degree of self entitlement rarely seen outside of Kensington.
Good luck to Mr T. He seems a very honourable chap.
